Finally Finished ASMR HAUNTED HOUSE **criticism please**

Love it!!! I really appreciate how well spookiness can be creatively accomplished in ACNH and you've done an outstanding job here! I'm dragging my feet on coming up with the right themes and decorating my house, but this is mighty inspiring.

o_O:eek::oops: Sure it’s amazing. I’m too scared 🙈😊

that 6 hours time difference makes it hard to sync up. you should def visit :)

very cool. I goto harvey to stage a lot of stuff if that helps. see what works and doesnt'.

omg it looks amazing! I can only imagine how much better it is when you can hear the sounds. Super creative, if you're ever opening for visitors, hi🥺

Wow! This is really well done. I hope they add a dream suite feature soon, so I can hear it too c:
The blender in the meat factory especially made me shudder o:

I think my only critique is the throne room sorta confuses me. What's the vibe you want?

Because the painting, The Clothed Maja (Warm Painting) suggest another theme. Usually, when women are painted in this position, they're usually high end prostitutes or in this case it's speculated as the artist's mistress.

Even the mermaid sofa mimics the furniture she's leaning against. So that gives me a sensual vibe. However, you're using the idk the wall, but an abandoned jungle temple and then the little statue guys which like a Indiana Jones vibe. You got like dangerous and sensual at the same time.

Other than that, all the other rooms are pretty cool.

I'm not usually a fan of horror, but this is so cool! You are super creative, and I clicked on this thread because of your "ASMR" idea. I love the fact that there is no music and you focused instead on sounds, again kudos to you! I've never seen this done before and was blown away.

I don't really have any critiques for you, except for the fact that I was a little surprised you didn't use a stone/tile flooring anywhere for the echoing footstep effect. I could see this being used in a mostly empty room for an eerie effect, maybe with a metronome to simulate someone walking after you or something. BUT at the same time, I like all 6 of your rooms the way they are and wouldn't want to change it! So idk hahaha. But seriously, you did a really good job! :)

Poor Pietro and Croque though haha, they are too cute to be a part of this monstrosity heehee 🙈

Yea I had a ivy wall while I was staging in Harvey but couldnt find it in my inventory. I was going for an adventurous feel as you're stumbling across and reach a hidden throne room with Cleo Patra esk seduction and a raising army.

I wanted to incorporate a piece of mermaid furniture as well so this is best I had.

I'll prob change the wallpaper down the line but not sure yet.

Omg stone tile is a great idea. I love it. I might change one of the foggy rooms to it. I never thought of the eerie foot steps. TY!!!

There are hidden easter egg posters throughout lol. Emptiness of Celeste in one. Resurrection of spike. In the lab if you turn the cam timmy and Tommy are in the tubes. In heck pheobe is flying high.

Incredible job! I never thought of using a lighthouse indoors; really creative how you implemented it in your room.

I love all of that creativity; I kinda regret basing my island themes on locations in other games rather than trying to come up with something from scratch.

My favorite room has to be the sacrificial altar one. Have you thought of using the ash brown throwback skull music player or the australopith fossils? It looks really great the way it is! I just thought if you’re looking to make it more creepy, using those skulls or if you have any more room for a qr code - blood stain qr code might add to it.

That fake informative statue looks really cool; I’ve been avoiding buying fakes but now I think I might want to nab a bunch of them along with the genuines and play around with them to see if i can find any use for them.

The throne room is my next favorite room. You really filled up the room nicely without making it look cluttered. The lighting choice definitely gives it an eery vibe.

Keep up the good work! Seeing your designs make me want to push harder to improve my own and to get more creative.

I did try to use the throwback skull radio but the eyes doesn't light up unlesss you play some music. I will try the australopith skull i think it's a great idea. I have four crickets atm I don't want the cricket volume to be any lower but i will try to fit it in. I had an artisad cage before but once again volume made a difference. If I had more custom slots I would totally do it. RN I'm saving 9 slots for a helipad design O.o don't tell anyone :)

lol. yea fake informative glows at night. I was messing around at harvey and was testing it. I really liked the way it turned out.

You should come by and hear everything. No music just sounds of object. the throne room has a subtle turning of gears sound.

ty.
Neat idea
