Festive DIY really starting that late?

12/15 is on a Tuesday this year. You really only have one weekend after that before Christmas. And as I work full time in retail, I won't have that weekend off.

I guess it makes sense with Christmas not being a big deal in Japan. But this kind of ties in with my other thought that it'd be really cool if they had a bunch of important holidays from all over the world, and depending on where you're from, things could be different in your game, compared to somebody playing in Japan or France. Of course that would be a lot of work, and maybe not even really possible for this game. Just a nifty idea. I just wish I could get the DIY stuff and decorate earlier without having to TT, but... I might cave and do it for this stuff. Still not doing it until December though.

You're right- I was looking at the November calendar, stupid me! That's rough, I hope you get everything you'd be looking for from the event. Fingers crossed! Tuesday is actually even worse for me, to be honest. I work a 9-5 it's going to be impossible to play as often as I need to. I'll end up having to TT towards the start of the month too.

I like your idea about celebrating holidays from around the world too- that would be so fun and a great opportunity to connect with people in the AC community about special days that are important to them that we might not experience otherwise. Even if they did secular things like "waffle day" or "opposite day" or something silly that might be fun too!

I think there will most likely be a holiday update that will add new DIYs starting Dec 1rst, so I wouldn't fret too much about having no holiday decorations until later.

Also side note- I hope they include holiday stuff other than Christmas in the update. Especially since the game is Japanese and Christmas is not big in Japan, I think they should incorporate some winter Japanese traditions and other holiday stuff (like Hanukkah) to be more inclusive. Plus its always fun to learn about other people's cultures!
