I also almost invited Jambette to my island, but I already had like 3 normals at the time so had to decline. 70% for the meme but I think she's fine and definitely a sweetheart. Honestly, her being a normal makes me like her way more than it should.

And I guess some people view Chops as ugly? I think his design is unique, and while not for me, I wouldn't call it ugly.

Justice for Pompom!!! Idk if she's typically considered ugly but I've had friends call her ugly.

Also, I know a lot of people hate the kangaroos because the baby makes them "creepy" but I think they're all adorable.

I've always hated Jambette because I found out she was my birthday twin and just those lips... Ugh. But then... I learned that she's the sweet/normal type and that makes her a little better... So while the lips still kinda turn me off, I no longer think she's hideous, and she does deserve any love that anyone is willing to give her.

I don't know if I would consider Gaston "ugly", but he's definitely not as cute as other villagers?? He moved in after I didn't fill a plot within a day, and at first I was not happy, but now he's a fave!! He's super expressive and he's a great cranky. I'll eventually let him leave because he's given me his photo but my sister will probably adopt him from me, cuz she likes him too, lol.
