I've been playing Pokémon Pokopia, and so I've been thinking about what regions in Pokémon are my favourite! My favourite city has always been Cerulean City. I usually pick grass starter Pokémon, but outside of starters, water Pokémon are some of my favourite. I especially love a lot of the original water Pokémon from the original 151, so I can't help but love the original water gym city too. 🌊 I feel like Vermillion City would have made a nice water Pokémon city too, given it's a port, so I also like Vermillion.

I have heard alot of good things about the game you mentioned and I really wish I could buy it but unfortunately I can't...

But I'm not quite sure what is my favorite Pokémon city. But I will say I love the original Pokémon because I grew up with them and that's where the love that I have for Pikachu comes from

Hoenn girl over here to represent!

This region is my favourite because of it being so nature filled and loads of beaches and water. I'm at my happiest by the water!

If I were to live in a town there, I'd probably pick Dewford Town. It's on the beach with a small population. Literally where I want to be irl.

I had a dream a while ago where me and my bf at the time (we broke up in rl though) were living in Slateport City and living the time of our lives. We went fishing a lot in the dream (none of us are into fishing in rl lol).

I also went through a phase where I wanted to live in Fortree City because I had a big ol' lesbian crush on Winona. Lol.

I thought about Dewport. A small town may be nice, but where gossip travels fast...can't take the pressure.

I'll be honest, I know I mentioned a lot of Hoenn towns, but since i'm on a Johto kick, i'm going to say Johto is my home, and as for the specific town...sorry I don't have a "full" answer.

I don't want to live in the Poke-world irl tbh. Them 'mons are dangerous to own in rl. When it comes to "living in the Poke-world," let it be between me and my 2DS thank you very much. :)

Castelia City seems to have a lot going on in terms of places to explore and interesting characters to meet. Since the gym leader is an artist, it makes it feel like they'd appreciate art and creativity. Also a casteliacone probably tastes great.

Most locations in Alola would also be great. Ula'ula in particular.

They're both inspired by NYC and Hawaii though so my caveat is that the cost of living wasn't also adapted lol.

Ecruteak City has always been a favorite of mine mostly for its lore and traditional Japanese architecture. HGSS made it look even more amazing. I also like how there’s a traditional Japanese theater with Kimono Girls. The Kimono Girls have some of my favorite NPC trainer designs and I do like how in HGSS they all have their own unique personalities and interactions with the player. Second favorite city has to be Luminoise City as seen in Legends ZA mostly because there is so much to see and do that you will actually forget where specific buildings or shops are even located.

Goldenrod City for sure, I know a lot of the gaps were filled by my imagination but it always felt like this specially after sunset, I always had this feeling of exploring a big city

I can think of a few options from two regions: Johto and Unova.
For Johto, I think of Ecruteak, or Azalea town with the Slowpoke Well, or Goldenrod...
For Unova, Driftveil comes to mind instantly. I know the music is kinda a meme, but as someone who usually listens to songs on repeat without growing sick of them? That bop as my hometown's theme would be awesome! Also Nacrene City with the library/museum, or Nimbassa city with the battle subway, amusement park, musical theater...

My first game was HeartGold, but even then, Unova has a slight edge. I love Unova so much.

I like almost every city/town in Johto, but Cianwood City (ESPECIALLY the HGSS version) is my absolute favourite because of the beach, the music and the Safari zone. (shoutout to the route music for it!) I also loved Fortree city because of the whole treetop thing when I first played Ruby. But my overall favourite town ever is White Forest for its nature and vibes, and the music is absolute peak.

Here's my favorite town/city from each region and why I'd choose to live there!

Kanto - Vermillion City, because I think it would be nice to live in a port with beautiful sunsets. I would get to watch the ships come and go, relax on the pier and smell the fresh sea breeze. Not only that, but there are lots of scenic routes near it that would be ideal for walks. Specifically, the many connected routes that lead to Fuchsia City.

Johto - there are sooo many good choices, but I think Ecruteak City would be the most ideal place. It's rich in culture, the architecture is beautiful, and I would get to watch the Kimono Girls dance. There's a park nearby, the National Park, and if you head west, there's a Miltank farm! I'd love to try a fresh glass of Moomoo Milk. It must be delicious.

Hoenn - this region in general is amazing. There's nature and water everywhere you look! All the towns and cities in Hoenn are so peak, but Slateport City quickly came to mind as my #1 choice. There's lots to do! I'd never be bored. A museum, a shipyard, market, contests, a lighthouse, the seaside cycling road, and best of all, the beach! After a dip in the sea, I'd go to the soda shop for a nice refreshing soda pop!

Sinnoh - Floaroma Town, without a doubt. I think living in a place surrounded by an endless field of flowers would do wonders for my overall mood and health. It's a town with peaceful, quiet vibes.

Unova - Nacrene City would be nice. There's a forest nearby I'd go for a walk, a scenic view of the Skyarrow Bridge, a museum and a relaxing café where I could listen to the man playing the accordion.

Kalos - I would have to pick Laverre City. It's really pretty. I love that fall, fairytale aesthetic.

Alola - Malie City, with architecture inspired by the Johto region. The garden is such an Ecruteak City vibe.

Galar - I'm unfamiliar with this region since I didn't play Sword/Shield and get a feel of the overall geography, so I had to look up the towns and cities. Postwick looks like a nice, peaceful community. It's close to nature, too.

Paldea - Hmm, I'd say Los Platos. A small, quiet community with plenty of wide open spaces, a river nearby, palm trees, an ice cream vendor, and Cabo Poco is close by. I think it would be nice to go on a walk by the cape and look out at the ocean.
