To say that Sheik is male would be to say that it isn't princess Zelda, which in of itself is wrong..... but also who would this guy be? some rando security for Zelda with no relevance to anything? some brother never introduced or given any plot significance? no, nintendo don't work like that... Nintendo doesn't need to outright say Sheik's a girl because the plot and gameplay alludes more than enough to zelda being sheik... or yes you can bring up bogus minor details from vastly differing sources to put together an argument against it, but that just causes unnecessary conflict...

and I like Pollute-n-ah lawlz! something soooooo satisfying as destroying someone with my spectacular tall beam of light

The argument is basically that Zelda uses 〜magic〜 to change her gender.

sounds like the lamest excuse ever for some idiots to use to want to start something.... I can't

but also why do some intricate magic to change your gender, but then shroud yourself in mystery... train yourself to not be seen... wouldn't the point of changing genders be to get some advantage of being that new gender? not to be ambiguous...... doesn't make sense

I don't believe Sheik counts as either gender, to be honest. Yes, he is Zelda, but it's a disguise. I'm not sure what Nintendo thinks of it all, but I consider Sheik male and Zelda female. Sheik is Zelda but Sheik is also a disguise influenced by magic. It doesn't really matter to me, though.

I'm not sure to what extent Zelda went to disguise herself, but there's no doubt she tried to differ from a female, and whether or not she completely changed her body, I don't know. I could be here all day debating this, but that's where I stand on the matter. Either way, I think it's great we have a possible transsexual in the series.

i can't believe some people actually think she uses magic to change her gender.

WENDY

i wouldve voted Jigglypuff but Jiggly can be either male or female so its sexist to assume jiggly is female just coz it's pink so I voted for wendy

But 25% =\= 75%.

I read somewhere that apparently the POK?MON are "inspired" by the anime and that their moves or something's resemble specific Pok?mon that I'm guessing play an important role. Not entirely sure if it's true or not, but eh.

Personally I prefer to think of them as the same POK?MON each game. Gives them more individuality.

Plus by that logical why isn't everyone arguing for Jigglypuff being male not arguing about Lucario, Charizard, and Greninja not being on the list?

What if you're using a different pokemon every match

So sometimes you're playing as a male pokemon

But other times, you're playing as a female

Anyways, voted for Jiggs

Considering that Jigglypuff can be male, wouldn't it make sense to include Greninja, Pikachu, Charizard, and Lucario? These pokemon can be either gender

Regardless, I voted for the Puff.

Other than that, you can pretty much count the others as whichever you want.

I'd like Lucina a lot more if she had a costume of her wearing her mask. Wendy is my favorite out of those, she reminds me of Angelica from Rugrats.

We could debate that SSB/SSBM's Pikachu being male/female since gender differences were interested in Gen IV/around the release of Brawl. Despite this, it is Sm4sh, so thank you for the correction

Wow, a lotta Rosalina fans on this board, huh zel? I'm more of a Peach/Lucina person.
I'm still confused by why Jiggly is on the list though XD
