A lot of people like the festival event. I like it a lot just because the good music and all that feathers flying around and the villagers dancing and singing.
I haven't experienced Bunny Day yet, but I'm going with Festivale by default.
Thanksgiving always involves spending hours hunting for the right fish. Toy Day requires too much preparation as there are always a couple of secretive gift wishing villagers who end up taking restraining orders out on me (Okay they just say: "How many times has it been today, nickname?!" and "You know I'm not looking for a roommate, right?" but it feels like a restraining order). Halloween got soured for me last year when I was trying to get a second Creepy Clock and after four hours my haul was one Creepy Cauldron, one Creepy Wall, two Creepy Floors and five Creepy Coffins. New Year and the Fireworks are pretty with nice items, but I find them kind of passive events with not much to do. I don't have much use for villager pictures, so April Fools Day doesn't do much for me.
This was basically my train of thought during my first Festivale this year: "The villagers look adorable in their headdresses dancing. That peacock is so far down the scale of horrible he punches through and goes back up to being adorable. Getting feathers is kind of annoying, but I'll persist because I want the full set for my catalogue. Full already. I'd better go sell it...WOAH! The furniture sells for how much?!?! This is the best holiday ever!"
geh i cant stand that peacock though. but mostly i hate festivale because Pave gives you random/repeat items instead of giving you the catalogue item by item until you have it completed. it's almost impossible to get all the items from one festivale day. :::shakes fist at Pave:::
