Favorite event in animal crossing new leaf?

A lot of people like the festival event. I like it a lot just because the good music and all that feathers flying around and the villagers dancing and singing.

I haven't experienced Bunny Day yet, but I'm going with Festivale by default.

Thanksgiving always involves spending hours hunting for the right fish. Toy Day requires too much preparation as there are always a couple of secretive gift wishing villagers who end up taking restraining orders out on me (Okay they just say: "How many times has it been today, nickname?!" and "You know I'm not looking for a roommate, right?" but it feels like a restraining order). Halloween got soured for me last year when I was trying to get a second Creepy Clock and after four hours my haul was one Creepy Cauldron, one Creepy Wall, two Creepy Floors and five Creepy Coffins. New Year and the Fireworks are pretty with nice items, but I find them kind of passive events with not much to do. I don't have much use for villager pictures, so April Fools Day doesn't do much for me.

This was basically my train of thought during my first Festivale this year: "The villagers look adorable in their headdresses dancing. That peacock is so far down the scale of horrible he punches through and goes back up to being adorable. Getting feathers is kind of annoying, but I'll persist because I want the full set for my catalogue. Full already. I'd better go sell it...WOAH! The furniture sells for how much?!?! This is the best holiday ever!"

geh i cant stand that peacock though. but mostly i hate festivale because Pave gives you random/repeat items instead of giving you the catalogue item by item until you have it completed. it's almost impossible to get all the items from one festivale day. :::shakes fist at Pave:::

So far my favorite is toy day but I have only been playing since December. I would love to attend a non-north american holiday but I don't have any friends with foreign games and I also don't know Japanese/Korean/other languages.

Yeah, by the time he finally deigned to give me that Pave Wall I needed to complete the set I'd been playing for hours. I think I'd have given up ages ago if I wasn't so stubborn and enjoy farming in a perverse way. The high of getting the desired item is intoxicating enough to make me plod through the hours of repetitive grind to get it.

While technically it's in tobidase, not New Leaf, it's Setsubun. In New Leaf, the Westernized version, it's Toy Day.

Halloween, pretty much just cause I love Halloween. I used to really like Festivale but after this year when I actually tried to get all the furniture, that peacock can burn in hell :)

I really like Toy Day :0
Thanksgiving (or whatever it's called in NL lol) is cool, too

To be honest, neither really. I would say Festivale because the feathers and all the confetti are really colorful and such but the effort to actually get all the pieces...

toy day, easter, festival looks really cool but i took a break and missed it -_-
yeah i hate myself

I haven't experienced very many so far since I just started last year in December. But for me, I'm gonna say that I love Festivale even though I'm not crazy about the events or items, I do think it's kinda fun to run around and collect feathers, I love hearing the fun music and seeing the villagers dressed in their little Festivale outfits and such. And Pave is kinda fun, but he's kind of a brat lol. I already TTed to April Fool's day because I was trying to get Francine in my town (plus I'm gonna host a villager pic giveaway, one person will win villager pics for all my current villagers, plus I'm keeping a set for myself). Toy Day was pretty hard and tbh kind of a pain trying to remember what goes to who, and hoping you actually get it right. As for the others, can't really say, I do think "Easter" is fun and I love the egg furniture.

Only thing is for me is that I don't celebrate most of the holidays that are presented in AC, so it's a little weird participating in these events. I know you may be thinking "why are you even participating if you don't celebrate them?!" well, the way I see it, I like the idea of getting special items, and I play everyday (I refuse to avoid playing for one day just because of a holiday) so I might as well get this stuff anyways. Besides, even if I decide I don't want the stuff they give you, I can always sell, trade or give it away.
Side note - this was longer than anticipated. xD

I really love Bunny Day because hunting for eggs is fun for me, and I absolutely love the atmosphere! Zipper's personality is quite funny... how he hates his job, but really has no choice xD
I also really love Toy Day because of the lighted trees, the atmosphere, and the build-up to the event throughout the month of December! I also love giving the villagers gifts.
Festivale I look forward to because of the confetti, it's so pretty! Plus, catching some feathers is a lot of fun, Pave's dances are so cute xDD
Hallowe'en is a lot of fun; collecting all the candy, walking around with weird masks, seeing villagers in their pumpkin hats.... I think the event was well thought-out!
I also adore the Harvest Festival because I like earning all the ingredients, then making them into one dish!

I like the less exciting events such as April Fools', too, because it's quite fun and straightforward, and tests how much I know my villagers (I prefer not to use a guide).

toy day! i love giving my villagers their dream gifts. them thinking i'm santa is so cute ^^ plus Jingle is my favorite event npc.

I have experienced: Toy Day, Bunny Day, Halloween, New Years, Fireworks Festival, Harvest Festival, Groundhog Day, Valentines.
I haven't experienced: April Fools, Villager Birthday, Festivale
Favorite music: Toy Day, followed by Bunny Day
Favorite items/set: Toy Day
Favorite Character: Jingle
Overall: Toy Day

If this counts one of my favourite events are the mayor's birthday or the side-characters. The animals are so sweet and sentimental on that day, and it just shows how much they actually care about the mayor. Overall its just a sweet detail that Nintendo added into the game, and it's incredibly thoughtful. You can tell it was well thought out from the beginning, from early screenshots of the game. I love how realistic the event is, just how it'd be in real life. I mean you even get to blow out your candles and it's what makes the game a home away from home.

I enjoyed the Jingle event and New Years the most; probably because that's the only few events I really tried and participated in. I also don't mind the spooky event, it was fun trying to run way from villagers since most of the time it's me running to them on a daily basis! If I did try all the activities and such I might say I would like them all cx

I really like Countdown, though I've never experienced it without TTing since I haven't stayed home on NYE in years.

Personally my favorite is April Fools. I really adore the villager photos so it's the perfect time for me to gather them especially for the villagers currently living in my town. I also think Blanca is really cute and according to the comments, I seem to be the only one who thinks so too lol. Luckily for me, it's coming up soon again.
