new leaf has so many cool features new horizons doesn’t have so i was wondering what some peoples faves are

Mines is the mini games of course I love them so so so so so so so much I wish they were in animal crossing new horizons

I think my favorite feature is being able to go to the island. I find it very relaxing to spend an evening catching fish and bugs there to sell back in my town. Something about it is more peaceful than fishing or bug catching in town, probably because it's easier to create a good rotation with no interruptions. I also like doing the mini-games occasionally.

I think my favorite feature would be the villager requests. They are much more frequent in NL and you have so many things you can do for them! From getting fruit, delivering presents, house visits, bringing someone to a certain villagers house for a meeting, finding furniture, or even geting a certain bug or fish!
choosing just one favourite feature is honestly impossible for me, so i hope it’s okay that i chose, uh… a bunch LOL. i haven’t played new leaf in so long, but my favourite features have always been minigames and club tortimer (beetle and shark farming was so fun!), working part-time at the roost, phineas and his badges (i always got so excited whenever i saw him wandering around), the exterior customization options for town hall, the train station and our house, playing hide-and-seek with villagers and streetpassing (seeing someone else’s character waiting for you with a balloon/treat in their hand was always great)! i also loved the perfect and tropical fruits, though i’m not sure if they count as a feature or not.

omg the badges were and still are THE BEST THING EVER. I think Nook miles were supposed to be a better replacement as you get stuff from them but badges just felt so much more... rewarding? I loved them. I loved bragging to friends about which badges I got and everyone helping each other out to get the train station ones!!!!!!!! I love the badges. I've always wanted to complete my badge collection. It's such a fun way to pass time. I remember sometimes I would spend hours on end trying to complete badges. Seeing Phineas in my town always makes me happy lol. So yeah, badges are my favorite New Lef feature.

Main street, working at the cafe, tortimer island and the villager personalities are things I wish NH had so bad

Everything about the Island. I think it's nice having a different area to travel to, and the minigames with other people made multiplayer more fun.
Club LOL is another favorite because I love Dr. Shrunk, and it was nice to have a place open at night to go to. It's fun seeing the villagers get out and do things. :3

I honestly have quite a bunch, ACNL being my fav AC, but the island would have to be my favorite to be honest. I have so many fond memories of it and the music is amazing.
But I also really miss the main street, I loved going there daily and visiting every shop and also passing by some old faces from my city!

I loved Re-Tail, the Dream Suite, the Island, the Roost, the RV Site, and the minigames. It makes the game feel so nostalgic with some of these not being in NH.
Yes! Especially being able to change the piggy bank, so cool!
Definitely the shop upgrades and unlocking shops on Main Street, I still remember how rewarding it felt to upgrade to T&T Emporium, unlock Katrina's fortune telling shop, and hear the new versions of the music on Main Street as it became more complete. Also there are more furniture sets, my absolute favourites are the gorgeous and regal sets, and New Horizons is still lacking them and probably forever will..
