Yeah unfortunately I kind of agree. Or they just light up for that particular animation, like some of the villagers eyes change color with certain emotions (Dotty?s eyes switch to red sometimes for example)

I also agree that that level of customization would be really neat though, and hope OP is onto something! ^^

Oh, it would be a great detail though. I don't like that NH's players have pupils, it looks a bit creepy in my opinion.
