Yeah, I know. That's actually why I was so excited to post this: Because I realized it was okay for me to like these villagers, even though they aren't super popular. Before I would just go with whatever villagers, everyone else seemed to like best and I don't have to do that anymore cause I'm not afraid to be myself. So I'm just really happy

I have social anxiety. That basically means, "I'm super paranoid that everyone around me hates me and please, don't make fun me." I'm anti-anxiety meds now, but it's still something I struggle a lot of with. Even posting this thread was a HUGE deal for me.

I don't think it's that big of a deal. I'm more annoyed by the fact that people care and make a huge fuss when they get negative feedback about their town when it's their own game. Nobody can tell them how to play it. So play how you please.

I love all my villagers and I've never even looked up their tiers. Some I've kept from around release date.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all your kindness and support, and for showing me how silly I was being. Thanks to all of you, I'm no longer afraid to show off my dreamies in my siggy. If other people don't like them, then good for them. It's my town, not theirs. Thanks, guys!

Lazy: Lucky. I love him because he looks kinda scary and creepy, and he's totally not.

Normal: Savannah. She's a freaking zebra with red and blue eyes. I don't understand how people could not like her.

Smug: Beardo. I love Beardo. I think he's so cool, cute, and super gentlemanly. I also came up with a theory while back that he's based off of John Watson from the Sherlock Holmes series by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and that makes me like him even more. Plus, I'm super into vintage, so that helps.

Punchy: he has been my favourite villager ever since ACWW he's so funny and useless and dumb AND I LOVE HIM!!!

from my knowledge he's only third tier which really saddened me as I've always been such good friends with him

I've been looking around dream towns to see who I'd like in my own village, and I've fallen in love with Becky, Ken, Vic, Boomer, Knox, and Sterling. Villagers wearing hats? Chickens? Yes please!

I love this thread, so many great villagers are t five, the list makes it harder to even find them sometimes as people don't list them separately thinking they won't sell, I have no shame in loving Alli or wanting her or any of my others, I had her in CF and think having her and Alfonso would be cool, I think Ch?vre is fairly popular but she is a dream and I just go by what I like...my first original town I never changed anyone then came the lists and it's never been the same having them be non original or sing other people tunes I almost wish to just start a random town again but I still have a few dreamy musts for my final towns I have now and don't care what people think. Once people get tired of the t ones or have them all it will flip upside down anyway some that a year ago were t one are fives now...it's not scientific or really even reflects overall popularity of who is being sought after from what I am seeing. And it changes every few months but it's a sellers guide really but I've never heard anyone judge a town based on it's villagers. It's not fun if you are stuck with populars you don't like.

I really realized this when my fianc? stated playing he isn't on TBT and I was like get so and so and he loved his originals and has no idea about lists just to see him love what he got and do it with no game knowledge of how it should be done made me feel bad that I plot reset his graham trying to get him a Kyle he probably would have loved him now he is smug less and didn't know the tent trick but hope he finds his dream in a tent like I did before there were sites...anyway like who you do and be proud then maybe if we all do the list will reflect what people really are seeking, it's meant to be to see who is being sought not a popularity sheet...right?

You, nor anyone should be embarrassed about their dreamies! That's so silly! All the villagers are special in their own unique way and nobody should ever feel ashamed of having a different villager!

There is nothing to be embarrassed about at all. I love so many villagers from all different tiers. In fact I have even had some of the villagers you listed and I loved them all. Dream villagers can be from any tier, choose the villagers you want because it's your town and you should have the villagers you think are amazing. Tipper was one of my original villagers and I always thought she was amazing (She moved out before I even knew villagers could leave XD ). I currently have Sprinkle and she is so cute. I used to have Lucky but I gave him away because he didn't fit in my town. I used to have Beardo but I decided to move him out and get Pietro instead. Tom left me when I took a week long break from animal crossing. So trust me I have had villagers from every tier and I have never once been embarrassed about my villagers.

There are some villagers that I wonder "Why did they even create this villager?". I guess for every villager there is someone out there who likes him / her which is good because it validates the existence of that villager.

Oh, I'm with you MagicalCat. The most popular dreamie I have is Tier 2. I think the fact that certain characters are unpopular just makes me love them that much more!

Lazy: Nate; The unibrow game is strong with this one. And come on. It's a lazy bear who dreams of being a sumo wreslter! -ships him with Hazel-

Cranky: Croque; I kinda fell in love with him as I was perusing the Dirty Screenshots thread. I think his markings are rather nice. And despite their conflicting personalities, he and Iggly often bond over baseball. His talent is also bunting!

Peppy: Tabby and Bubbles; Tabby is one of your "ugly" villagers to many people. They think she's creepy, but that's why I love her. I just find Bubbles to be adorable with her strawberry shirt and the little tuft of hair on her head. I also really love her name. Bubbles loves volleyball, so she probably gets along well with the other sports-loving villagers.

Jock: Iggly; He's a cute, chubby penguin with rosy cheeks who loves playing baseball!

Normal: Gala; A cute little pig that wears flowers. What's not to love?! I seriously can't believe that she's in Tier 5! And according to her dream job as a violinist, she plays the violin!

Smug: Lionel; Come on, a smug lion with a white mane, mustache, and classy interior, with a catchphrase of "precisely." I love it!

Snooty: Violet; Another one of your "ugly" villagers. I personally don't think so! It's kinda sad. I've seen her referred to as "thing" or "it" in the Who's In Your Campsite thread. I mean, a pink gorilla in pearls? For some reason, the image strikes me as both funny and cute.

Uchi: Hazel; Like with Nate, the unibrow game is strong, and this is why a lot of people dislike her. Despite that, she appears to have a high self esteem. Look at her catchphrase, "uniwow!" She's clearly proud of her unibrow, and doesn't care what anyone else thinks, and I think that's a thing to be admired. -ships her with Nate- There's also Canberra. So ugly she's cute, at least in my opinion. Apparently she and Tabby both love tennis, so I'll bet that they'd often play together.
