So, apparently, I have like ridiculously low standards for dreamies because only, like, two of them are in really high tiers. I'm pretty sure the reason why that is because I did the whole thing with, like, the uber popular dreamies and I just didn't get what the big deal is. Now, for my dreamies, I'm just going for whatever villagers I see that make me be like, "Omg, I MUST have you in my town!" But it's kind of embarrassing because most of them are in, like, super low tiers and I feel like other people would think I'm weird for liking them. That's just, like, whatever, I guess cause I decided to share them with you guys anyway:

Peppy(s): Cookie and Sprinkle. I really love Cookie because she's a pink dalmation and she looks super sweet with her huge fangirl eyes, imo, and Sprinkle I've just always thought was super cute since day one. She was one of my starters for Lux and she is never leaving.

Uchi: Shari. I don't know. She doesn't look intimidating like all of the other Uchi villagers, and I think she's really cute. Plus, she reminds me of a lemur and I love lemurs.

Lazy: Lucky. I love him because he looks kinda scary and creepy, and he's totally not.

Normal: Savannah. She's a freaking zebra with red and blue eyes. I don't understand how people could not like her.

Cranky(s): Tom and Wolfgang. I really like Tom because he reminds me of my first pet cat, who was a loner and really grumpy and just did not want to be held at all. I like Wolfgang because he reminds me of, like, the lone mountain man that's everyone's afraid of, but he's actually really nice. Plus, he was one of my very first villagers and I just loved him ever since.

Jock: Teddy. I love freaking teddy bears. I just do, so I just have to have this guy in my town. Lol.

Smug: Beardo. I love Beardo. I think he's so cool, cute, and super gentlemanly. I also came up with a theory while back that he's based off of John Watson from the Sherlock Holmes series by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and that makes me like him even more. Plus, I'm super into vintage, so that helps.

Snooty: Tipper. I like cows. I don't really know why. I just think they're super cute and I just want to hug them. I also think Tipper would be hilarious because she's a cow and I think it would be cool cause she'd have the whole big girl pride going on (I'm, like, a size 6 myself, but I hate body-shaming and have a lot of friends who've dealt with it, so it's kind of a big deal to me).

So, yeah. Those are my dreamies and I do think it's sort of weird that they aren't super popular, but not really anymore. I just like what I like, I guess. Does anyone else have dreamies they find embarrassing for some reason or another? If so, please about why you love them and think they're embarrassing here. Just don't be afraid to show your love for the lower tiers.

Don't feel embarrassed about what villagers you like. In fact, if you ask me, there are too many amazing villagers in lower tiers, so feel free to like who you like. Don't let any tier lists change that.

On that, I believe that at least half of my villagers are low-tier; those being Mallary, Caroline, Portia, Vladimir, Deli and Victoria. I'm not too certain about Pierce and Pashmina, and I know Erik and Kyle are high-tier, but even so, they're some of the best villagers I've ever had. I don't let what anyone else may think cloud my love for each one of them.

I only have one dream villager, being Egbert.
I don't find it embarrassing, just disappointing because I'm prolly the only person who cares about him enough to have him as a dream villager.
he was my best friend in City Folk, so...

The tiers should not impact your choice of dreamies or not. My favorite villager is a Tier 4 and she was Tier 5 when i joined and that did not change how much i really like her. If they truly are your dreamie, their spot on the list should not matter for you. It is just to give people an idea of the market

omg I'm not the only one that loves Egbert! he was my crush back in wild world and he was such a flirt, i would have him in my town but he would look so odd ;-;

It's just a game. Who would honestly think you're weird for preferring different villagers?

A dream villager is a dream villager. Most of the ones I love from past or present games are considered pretty low tier. To tell the truth, I couldn't care less. I've developed friendships with them and they've come to be special to me in my town. It'd be a pretty boring game if everyone had the same 8-10 villagers. And if someone judges you because you prefer "unpopular" villagers over the lofty few, they aren't worth it.

I've also done the whole "uber popular, tier 1" thing and meh. My faves are Monique, Bella and Gruff. Gruff was in my cycle town, and I was like...MUST, MUST HAVE YOU!!

Just because a villager is more popular, doesn't mean they're better than lower tier ones. It's all about personal taste. You can't be wrong.

If anything, having lower tiered villagers in your town makes it more interesting and makes your town more unique. :D

Dreamies are supposed to be the villagers you want. Whether or not they're top tier. The tier system just tells which villagers are common in people's towns. Which ones show up the most in signatures or that sell for a lot. I have a mixture of low and high tiers, but I literally just went along the list and picked ones that I liked. The only time I look at tiers is if I'm selling a villager.

I think there are a lot of gems in lower tiers, like Blanche, Nan, Del, Rowan, and Jeremiah. I prefer lower tiers, actually. Easier to get and a nice surprise to people who have never been to your town before because the villagers are less common.

Phooey. Phooey I say. I have quite a few lower tiered villagers, and guess what? That makes no difference to how much I love them. Phooey!

I have social anxiety. That basically means, "I'm super paranoid that everyone around me hates me and please, don't make fun me." I'm anti-anxiety meds now, but it's still something I struggle a lot of with. Even posting this thread was a HUGE deal for me.

In that case, Magic: I'm going to assure you that no-one really minds how common or rare your dreamies are. What matters is that you like them, and they make your town yours. That's the general concensus here.

I'm not embarrassed about any of my dreamies, low tier or not. Most of mine are high tiers, I think.

In Starfall: Fang, Whitney, Kyle, Pietro, Goldie, Flurry, Muffy, Bianca, Kid Cat, and Bob.

In Oakmaple: Chief, Fauna, Chevre, Pashmina, Erik, Marshal, Wendy, Rosie, Bam, and Willow.

Yeah, I know. That's actually why I was so excited to post this: Because I realized it was okay for me to like these villagers, even though they aren't super popular. Before I would just go with whatever villagers, everyone else seemed to like best and I don't have to do that anymore cause I'm not afraid to be myself. So I'm just really happy :)

I really like her too! She is one of my original villagers and she's always so cute and funny. She's always babbling about time travel or clones.

Thats awesome! She used to be my neighbor in Wild world, she was so cool to 11 year old me.
