Mine represents me, I guess just to feel like I’m more in the game.

my character is loosely based on me, but her hair changes more often than mine. My hair is naturally black but I dye it ginger, so my character's hair is 80% of the time ginger, the other 20% is blonde or dark brown and coordinates with outfits. She has a pale skin tone but that could change in the summer months.

You should consider taking the "Edit" and parenthesis parts out of the title. It dilutes the message of the topic.

Skin tone wise, I'm not sure. I feel like I'm pretty bad at picking an 'accurate' skin tone in general, partly because of the small range of skin tones offered and partly because I'm just rubbish at differentiating between some colours. Picking foundation is already hard enough for me!

My character's style and hair is completely different than mine in real life though. I think I dress a lot more 'out there' than I do in real life.
