That's still not proof. For all we know, they could be bluffing. If it's not from Nintendo themselves, it's not 100% official. I have no doubt that they're working on their next handheld, but a 2010 release is insane.

Guess Nintendo's insane then. But no. They've always -- ALWAYS -- released their handhelds as the previous one was at a high point, not when they were fizzling out. So an E3 2010 announcement followed by an end-of-year release date is very, very likely.

But not in the same year that they just released another new handheld. They wouldn't do that, it'd kill the DSi XL's sales.

Gameboy Micro says hi.

That's different. The Game Boy micro was released after the next generation system, not before. And, obviously, it wasn't exactly a commercial success because of that. (But it should've been, because it's a great system.) Nintendo wouldn't take that route a second time, anyway.

And why wouldn't they? The Gameboy Micro served its limited, niche purpose, as will the DSi XL.

I don't know anyone who has a GameBoy Micro. DSi XL sounds and looks stupid. Just get a DSi.
I still have the original silver brick DS when it first came out... YAY RETRO!! xDD
And it still works great haha.

I don't think Nintendo will release a blue DSi XL. They choose the DSi XL colors to match the surroundings of an average household, because they want it to be something that people will leave on the table for anyone to play.

So they want your friends to just pick up your ds and play it? LOL

Just after one year I own my DSi? If it has everything that DSi have, then I'm screwed, so will the DSi XL owners. Just in case of that possible release, I want to be able to transfer my DSiWares. Though, it doesn't mention in which country will it strike in that month.
Japan? North America? Europe/UK? Korea?

Saw it this morning. So? Key word: may. And even if it is true, it doesn't matter. I made a prediction and I was wrong, and I admit it. Nobody is right 100% of the time. And if it is true, that just means I'll be able to get the 3DS sooner. But for now, I have my DSi XL to hold me over.
