I had to restart animal crossing as i changed from a switch lite to a switch. I updated animal crossing but when I lie down in my house my character will not dream and no message comes up. I only have a camp bed but confused as to why I can’t dream.

Dreaming in animal crossing

No I have already paid back the loan and updated my house once and still nothing
it took me longer than usual too but I eventually got Luna’s bed in the mail and was finally able to dream. before the 2.0 update I always received the letter from Luna fairly quickly ( I got it in the mail with the first house upgrade I believe). it took way longer for me to get it this time though (I restarted too). so don’t worry! you will eventually get a mail from Luna but later than what you’re accustomed too ^^

I have the same problem! I've been playing for almost a week and I haven't received the letter, does it take longer than that?

I looked back at my posts in the thread what did you accomplish today to see at what point I had received luna's bed in the mail. On the day I got it was the day my third starter villager moved in and Tom Nook had announced that Resident Services would be closed the next day to be upgraded to a building.
So I finally received the letter from Luna but it took a lot longer than a week. It will arrive eventually though
yes, it definitely took longer than a week for Luna’s letter to arrive, at least for me!
