Does size matter? (What!? What do you think I'm asking!?)

I generally don't care, but I will say I agree that having short jocks is amazing. My jock is Cousteau and it just cracks me up to see him brag about lifting houses and trees and whatnot when he can't even reach a door-handle.​

Mix, but more towards the small ones like Squirrels, Cubs, etc.
I also like the ones who have the same height as us like Rabbits, Cats, etc.

I didn't used to like the taller villagers, but I really like them in New Horizons. The bears in particular because they just look like they can give me a big bear hug! One day I will find Megan.

I definitely like the medium-sized ones. Sheep, octopus, cats. But I can't lie- whenever my character has to look down to talk to a duck or hampster I'm sold.

I like a mix! Some of my villagers are roughly my size like Hornsby and I think the wolf villagers, horses like Julian and Elmer are taller, and then Hazel and Ankha are more of the smaller size.

Medium sized and small mostly. There are very few big animals I like, Lionel is really the one one I can think of right now.

My peppy girls have to be small animals like squirrels or mice though. Or cute rabbits because rabbits are the best villagers.

I remember when NL was coming out how strange everything looked with the new proportions. However, I think it was a really good decision. The differences between two animal species is great. I especially love it when the animal's height sort of contradicts their personality.

For instance, look at Tucker. I usually think of the lazy villagers as younger, and therefore smaller. But any lazy elephant, rhino, or other big animal is going to seem funny to me.

Similarly, a tiny cranky is just hilarious. Like a tiny little ball of anger.

I also appreciate that this game gave some personalities slightly different voice pitches, based on what size they are. I have Admiral, a small cranky bird, and his voice is low, as expected of a cranky. However, I went to visit my friend's town and he has Rolf, a cranky tiger, and I was shocked that his voice was even lower!! I love stuff like that.

So yeah, I like a mix, I guess to actually answer the question lol. I just think it's really neat how they do things.

Size absolutely matters to me. I'm not a fan of the bigger animals like most horses, gorillas, rhinos, hippos, bears, elephants, and eagles, they look kind of awkward walking around my island. Wolves are the one exception, and that's mostly because they're all well-designed. Most of my villagers are average size with the occasional tiny squirrel or frog.

Saying that, I do have plans to add Tia, Julian, and Renee to my island eventually, so I guess if a villager has a good enough design, I don't mind how tall they are.

Nah,a villager's size doesn't really matter to me.I like having different shapes,sizes and colors.The screenshot above has small,medium and large villagers for comparison.I'm kind of surprised that Nate isn't much taller than my island rep.The big villagers seemed taller in New Leaf.

Size doesn't matter to me, it's just what they bring to the table and how I vibe with them that does. I currently have 3 crankies of various of sizes. Ricky being smallest and Harry my biggest, while Dobie is in the middle. I really like the size difference they have with each other.

I go with all sizes, but I also like to pair them off. Size really isn't a deciding factor for me though. I pick villagers that I like, and as long as they have a buddy I am happy.

I love all sizes! I only had pint sized and medium sized villagers for the longest, but I was finally blessed with Beardo in my campsite a couple of weeks ago. Now every time I see him I just want to hug and squeeze him like a giant teddy bear! The pint sized villagers are just too adorable as well. They do look absolutely cute interacting with the bigger villagers! I like having a mix of all sized villagers now, hoping to get a few more bigger ones to balance it all out.
