OK so I'm in a pickle. I have 10 villagers in my town and I refused to let Lucy go when she requested. That left only 1 contending villager to move known in my town as Charlise. I am worried that instead of her moving out when I next TT Purrl, Marshall, Drift, Hamlet, Mott, Dizzy or Cookie will move out instead. (Dreamie Village!) So of course I'm in a pickle because of it and I have no method on how to make a specific villager to move. I need her to move to make room for Rosie when I get either enough BTB, or find a post with no replies yet. So does anyone have a guide on how to make Charlise (Or anyone) move?
I really need replies to begin in the next 2 hours after I post this so I can evict her from my village and begin living my life with my dreamies! :D :P

It's been past two hours, but I'll give you this just in case you need it again.

The method I use it to TT forward two days, see if anyone pings, and then TT back two days if the wrong villager pings. Since you have a lot of dreamies, be sure to talk to everyone to see if anyone is thinking about moving, as well! After TTing back two days, do the same; walk around and see if anyone pings, and talk to people. Just repeat this until your desired villager asks to move out.

normally in my case when i do tt to move a villager trick. i will go forward 5-6 days (in my case the 7th days always ping) after the first random villager ping move. just walk around and scan for ping or talk to 1-2 villager ( repeat for at least 10 time) and see if they tell you someone is leaving . if its one of your dreamie that wanted to move, just stop them . and move on to the next 5-6 days. in order to make sure the first ping from charlise is not a hoax( sometime villager will still stay even u ask them to go ) save the game before u do a ping talk with them . you can walk past charlise even he ping and save , it doesnt matter. after u reload your save game he will still ping u .

note: for example if marshal tells u charlise is moving . but when u walk past her and n she does'nt ping. just tt few hours ahead and she should ping u . make sure to get the ping if not there is always a risk an unknown villager suddenly disappear in your town .

you can tt back to the date u actually are the day charlise plot is gone ( to be safe )

* this might for everyone but at least for me.

Personally, I hate the 2 forward, 2 back method for two reasons.
1. It makes many people lose dreamies
and
2. It only counts as one day back because any amount of time back wards in a town counts as one day. :p
But anyway, here's the guide I use.
Fool Proof Guide
It always works for me 100%, just takes some time. Also there's no way to have someone leave randomly if you do it right. :D

There's a repost on this forum about this, contains the exact same thing, but I couldn't find it even after searching thru google, so here: http://bamdom.tumblr.com/post/57682343411/alternatively-titled-how-to-get-your-dream
Whoops we had the same idea! :D :D

If she was the last person to move in she won't move until someone else moves and someone moves in :( But if she wasn't the last to move in, then you are in luck and can try any of the above mentioned methods!

I use a method that I read here on the forum for the first time. I can't find the thread about it, though, so I'll explain it for you. Let me know if you need more details or explanations, I'm trying to keep this short in case you don't need it.

When a villager pings you to move, if it's a villager you want to keep, tell them to stay and save your game. Set your 3DS calendar to the Monday of a week that has no big events in it. Load the game as your mayor and save and quit immediately. Go to your 3DS calendar and set it one year later than that. This time, use a new character to check who's missing from your town. You can check as soon as Porter gives you the map. Go out of the train station and quit without saving. Set the 3DS calendar back by one year and load as your mayor again. Find the villager who would be missing in the future and see if they ping you. If they don't, talk to them a few times, then save, quit, and reload. Find that villager again. Keep doing that (seeing if they ping, talking to them, reloading) until they ask you to move.

If it's a villager you want to keep, tell them to stay and save your game. Set your 3DS calendar forward by a year and load as your mayor. Save and quit immediately, then use a new character to check on your town one year later again. Go back to the date you last saved your mayor and find the villager who is moving in the future. Keep repeating this until it's a villager you want to move out.

When a villager you want to move out pings you, tell them they can leave and pay attention to the date they mention. Save your game. This time, set your 3DS calendar back to the date you want, such as the original date you were on you started this or the day after. Going back any amount of time counts as a day forward, so keep that in mind. If your villager was going to move in 5 days, they'll now move in 4 days.

Keep in mind that villagers don't ping you when an event is coming up.

The only downside of this method is that you get weeds and bed hair. It can take some time but it's safe as long as you're careful to start as a new character when you travel forward a year for the first time.
