Does anyone else feel awkward leaving after a trade?

OMG...ha ha! I am a very fast typist, but on the stupid little 3DS pad the letters are off and my typos are numerous and all too common! So I'm busy trying to hurry up and erase and correct and all the while my little mayor is standing around looking all bee-stung stupid...

Truth.

Only thing is that I don't usually have my stylist, so I either type with my fingers or use the end of a random mascara wand next to my bed to type. That mascara wand is really mysterious since no one uses mascara in my house..

This is a brilliant idea .... But say ... Did the mascara wand just appear one day!?

It was awkward once when my host didn't know how to end the session, but also didn't want me going to the train station. Aside from that, it's usually fine. A bit of a lull before the end of the session, but that's fine.

I only feel awkward when someone doesn't want to leave you alone in their town (totally understandable), but they don't end the session when you are done. Like...you don't want me on my own but you're not ending....what do I do?

I feel awkward just standing there after the trade is over, waiting to see if the other person is going to end or tell me to go away XD

But luckily feeling uncomfortable while trading is something you get used to and it's not really a big deal after a while.

I sometimes feel a little awkward.
If I'm the host, I make sure I greet them, lots of happy emotes etc then trade.
After trade I normally use the wave emote and say Ty and bye bye ^^ then wait for a goodbye before I end.

When I am the visitor, I make sure I say say hi, use happy emotes then do the trade. Then same as above, use the wave emote and happy emotes then wait for it to end. If they take too long (20+ seconds) I head to the station :3

I know some people feel awkward trading, so I do my best to kind of put people at ease. I always state on my selling thread that I'll close the session once the we're both happy after the trade, and I always say 'hi!' and 'tyvm!' and wish them a nice day before ending. If I'm visiting someone else, I thank them and wish them a good day, then say bye and make to walk to the station, giving them a chance to end I've done so many trades I sort of go into auto pilot lol.
I guess I personally don't get awkward, but I like to make sure people feel comfortable trading with me as everyone's different.

I always feel a little awkward when I'm the host. As a visitor I tend to say "Hi", "Thank you" and "bye" when I leave and wait for the host to end the session. If they don't do it in about a minute, I just head over to the train station. I say the same things when I'm the host, but I never know whether the visitor wants me to end the session or go to the train station by themselves. I get afraid that they'll think I'm being rude if I just end the session after saying goodbye. >.>

There's a few moments when I feel awkward. One is when I'm at someone else's town and I'm waiting to end session when turns out they want us to leave via train. Second when someone comes into my town and doesn't even say hi they just get on with what they're suppose to and I'm the only one saying hi to them. I felt more like nervous when I started doing trades because I didn't know what I was suppose to do. But now it's a piece of cake.

I feel awkward when I'm in someone's town after a trade or something (especially when there's more visitors), and I ask if I can leave, but they never answer and I stand there like....
Do I leave... or...?

I give a moment for someone to say thank you, or whatever they want to say. then I tell them that I'll end the session if I'm hosting. I have had people get impatient and run in circles afterwards even though a mere two seconds have passed, lol

The whole trading thing is awkward to me, except with a few select people I've traded with enough times on here. I'm always paranoid I'm doing something wrong, or that I'm taking up too much of their time. But, I feel that way all the time IRL, so, same old same old!

I do for sure! I'm always not sure what to do so I end up saying goodbye and thanks a bunch of time until it ends

I feel supppperr awkward! ahahaha After trading, i say my thanks and bye but i'm not sure if the host is ending wifi or i have to run to the station. I usually wait like 10 seconds? to see if the host is ending wifi and if not, i start making my way over to the station. When people come to my town to pick up villagers or trade items, i usually end immedaitely after saying bye and thanks.

I usually only feel awkward with the people I trade with and exchange online messages with more often. It just feels rude to drop items and leave or to end session and boot them right out of town. And yet it's silly to sit there and type on the tiny screens when we could more easily "visit" by typing online. When it's someone I don't know, I am perfectly comfortable trading. I say thanks and bye, and then I either end or head for the station. Eighty percent of the time a host will end before I get to the station, which is just fine Every so often someone wants to keep talking or visiting after a trade - that can get awkward if I am in a hurry for another trade, but usually it's fun to go ahead and tour other towns too, at least for a few minutes.

I try to always emote a Joy face after we're done trading if nothing else, 'cause I'm a slow typer.

Sometimes I do, but it depends. Usually whoever I'm trading with ends the session themselves, so I don't have to worry.

Sort of. As in, when the trade has been completed, you've said thanks and bye, and nothing happens.
