Do you time travel?

I have before but it usually ruins the fun for me. If I do now, it's for small things, like if I want to move several buildings but don't want to wait that many days. I rarely do that anymore though, as I find I enjoy the anticipation of working at something for several days.

Yes! When i want to kick out a Villager i do TT!

I usually don't, and I have not played New Horizons in ages, so I feel like I did at some point. The short answer is no I don't, but will f I really need something taken care of.

I started to time travel a lot more thanks to the 5 item a day limit. I don't know why that needed to be a thing. Some diy literally take 5 items to make so I often use up my limit just trying to make 1 piece of furniture. In NL I would just buy everything I need in one go and then Pete could only deliver the amount of stuff I had space for in my mailbox (I think 10 or less depending if you cleared out letters) I know there's now a 300 limit space, but they could've coded it where 10 items only were delivered per day until it caught up. 5 is just way too low.

Yea it’s crazy we can only order 5 from nook shopping. Now that we have the DLC at least we can order 5 more with Wardell. It’s too bad you can’t order 10 from each.

I just got back into playing the main game after 4 years (according to Apollo yikes) and I told myself I wasn't going to time travel this time around... but alas, I have been time traveling lately. I leveled my island before I stopped playing, and tbh, that was the reason I stopped, but I recently decided to comeback and undo my mistake. However, since I have a lot of ideas and a lot of new furniture options were added since I last played, I just find myself TT in order to get items from past events, to get items I ordered delivered faster or to finish getting every vendor from Harv's island. I really want to play the game leisurely, so I'm trying really hard to be patient and wait.

I didn't initially, but I did/would time travel. It can be convenient if I don't think I'll be able to play every day/I'm short on time. I only ever move forward one day at a time, since I'm afraid to mess things up! I do like the idea of playing it in real-time though, so with a future game, I think I'd try to be time travel free, at least until I'm satisfied my town/game is "complete".

No because I love having something to look forward to every day, but it really sucks when I miss events because I didn't feel like playing at the time.

I love time traveling and do it all the time. In Dreamlight Valley, the other cozy game I play, you can't time travel but in that game there is more to do so it's not a problem. For example, mining rocks spawn every 5 minutes so you can run around mining for hours if you want.
When I get tired of ACNH, I reset one of my islands and start again. I really love the early game where you're picking your map and getting everything set up. The music at the beginning is lovely too.

I kind of wish that Animal Crossing were more like one of the many games where in game days don't sync with real world days but in those games, I am often frustrated by how fast the day goes and how you can't get everything done that you want to do.

The first couple of months after the game first came out I was strictly zero time travel, but I've come to enjoy being able to play longer sessions without running out of new resources and shop items, etc. It's also nice being able to play different months when I suddenly stop playing for months at a time (oops).

I generally only go one day at a time and only forward though, unless I'm doing a big jump backward for seasonal stuff (or villager hunting.)

I occasionally time travel for events and or bugs or fish not nearly as often though.
