Hello, crossers!

I'm not sure how to make a poll, so just answer this in your post:
Do you time travel?
If you do, why?
& How far ahead/back do you travel?

I personally don't. But am interested to know the motives of those that do.

(NO JUDGEMENT ALLOWED. If you do not time travel, please do not bash those that do.)

I absolutely time travel! I can only play at night and if I stuck to "real time", the shops would always be closed and I would miss out on all the events. So yes, I always go back to the morning or the afternoon to play that day. :)

I occasionally do if I need to make more money by beetle hunting and I'm too busy to go on later. I also used to when cycling for villagers I wanted, but now I've got all of my dreamies, I'm trying to cut back on it.

I have one town that I time travel in and one that I don't. When I do TT it's usually just to change the time to when the able sisters shop is open though. I don't play either copy enough to be playing a few days in one session.

A big fan of time traveling here!! <3
It's one of my favorite things about AC: I can bounce back & forth, should I wish to do so.
The importance of having a choice & flexibilty

That said, I usually start either mid-morning or early morning, then go forward a few hours, enjoy the lazy afternoon, then take a niiiiice evening or mid-night stroll around town. Without TT, the game would be a lot less enjoyable.

Especially true is the importance of TT-ing when it comes to my cycle town. ^_^;;

I don't do it in my main town anymore, but I still do in my 2nd town. I want to get things done fast.

Yes.I can only play early in the morning and later at night.I need my shops to be open.I also order items for people, and sometimes it takes too long to wait for the mail.

I do for the time being. I only go day by day though, mostly to get hybrids/trees/bushes to grow. Once my town is developed to where I like it, I'll go back to the current date and stop time travelling.

On my second town, I'm using it to hold a friends villagers for the time being, and once I return them all to her I'll use that town to cycle for awhile - so yes on that town too.

Yes. Now that I'm actively playing in two towns, I find I only really time travel in one. My second town is a "cycling" town that I use to grow hybrid flowers very quickly in. In my main town I don't travel as much, if ever (I might do it today to finish my Gracie fashion checks, but I haven't decided if I care that much yet lol). But I tend to only time travel forward, I don't like to time travel backwards as I feel there is more risk to losing villagers.

I do not time travel and I doubt I ever will. The only time I ever will time travel/time skip is if I had a cycle town. I personally like to enjoy the game at it's regular pace, but that's just me. c:

Sometimes, but never more than a couple hours. I have all my dreamies and DO NOT want to lose anyone.

yeah pretty much all the time.
if I don't I end up being bored. it's really useful for getting shops to refresh, trees etc to grow. for me without time traveling this game would feel more like a chore than anything. I usually only go day by day, sometimes only till night if all I'm after is money. but then when I've bought whatever I want to buy or do whatever I want to do I set my town back to the current date and time.

it's also helpful for when I want to play late (which is most of the time) since I can TT back and open the shops

I don't time travel unless I stopped playing for a while. I go back to the last day I played and go day-by-day until the current date to make sure everything goes the way I want.

I use to time travel, especially if I knew I wouldn't go on for those specific times/days. But since I go on NL on a daily basis, I have no need to time travel.

Do any of you time travel to months in advance?
For example, if you're trying to finish cataloguing and the item is only available in the Winter?

Yes because why not.

Timetravelling isn't "cheating".

Plus, I usually don't play for like 3 months, and I tt back to the time when I stopped playing to prevent villagers from moving and such.

I've traveled back in time before on days where I was busy and couldn't play until late. since all of the stores are closed late at night, I traveled back just to do my "daily chores." however, I've never TT'd forward. idk, sometimes I want to but I think I'd rather experience the game day by day for now.

I do not time travel that far ahead. I am waaaay too paranoid about losing villagers/messing something up. ;w;

I time travel all the time, sometimes I take a break for about a week but then I get back into it haha
