Do you store you turnips/ DIYs indoors or outdoors?

DIYs are inside and their location is marked on a spreadsheet I keep since I sell them and there’s so many to keep track of.

I used to keep turnips inside but I found it easier to keep them outside on the beach by the airport so I could quickly gather them and go sell somewhere whenever it’s my turn for turnips.

I tend to store all my turnips and diy recipes indoors.
If they were outdoors I would fence them in!

I store them in my main room, since they usually won't be there for more than a couple of days or so. Also, that prevents theft if I want to trade.

Turnips outside. Currently residing in my maze which I keep meaning to rip down but whilst its there works well for turnips until I need to grab them and I have to go through the maze!

DIY's I have swapshop tables for them I don't hold anymore than 15 at one time. Mostly sell off the less rare or uneeded ones as I go along!

although if i ever have more than 5 at one time, diys start going in the trash.
only ever buy one inventory full of turnips these days too.

DIYs: I don't really keep extras.

Turnips: Both. About 2-2.5 million worth of turnips fit inside my house, and since I add 1 million more worth of turnips from the week prior, currently 10-11 million worth of turnips are outside.

I've done the math, I'll hit 999m the week of buying 26 million. So about 13 more weeks since I bought 13M this week.

My question is: will 24ish million worth of turnips even fit on my island? It's going to be close! And be an extreme pain to sell them all.....

I put mine indoors because I’m worried about Isabelle complaining about garbage, but I have a nice area for turnips to go outside later once I’m done spawning lily of the valley. I’ve gotten to the point where I just toss my diys, I’ve tried selling and trading with them for a while but I feel like most people have the ones they want at this point.

Im so sick of storing DIYs. Right now indoors cuz i need more lilies of the valley. But im getting ready to do my interior.. So i have no idea what I'm gonna do yet. I have so many sittin around.

My turnips.. I TT for turnips.. So I dont have to store them.. I let daisy do that for me lol

Turnips: fenced outside, and I only buy an inventory of them
Random DIYs on the beach for visitors
Wreaths/Crowns and "special" DIYs like the sakura ones are in my basement, I'll may use them to tip people or I'll just gift them away later when I've a lot of them.

When I first started buying turnips I kept a room in my house just for turnips, then as I started properly doing my house up (and was buying more turnips), I had to store them outside.

Now, I just don't buy turnips.

I used to store turnips in my basement, but eventually decided to just fence them outside near my house so I could use the space for DIYs instead. DIYs are always stored indoors, but I already have 3 rooms full of them...

Ugh, if only Nintendo would either make a binder where you could store them (ie. an additional inventory bag with 100+ slots for them, like the AC amiibo card albums) or digitize spares to your Nook Phone.
