Do you store you turnips/ DIYs indoors or outdoors?

Outdoors. I have an area for DIYs and an area for mats near the airport. I would have no room in my house if I put them indoors.

Indoors. The clutter outside bothers me more and for whatever reason I'm less interested in decorating my house, so I don't much care how it looks in there.

i used to store my diys outdoors but i moved them to my alt character’s house when i started trying for the 5 star rating ;u;

I don’t think DIYs affect the rating cause I have more than 50 scattered outside and I still have a 5 Star rating.

It's changed a couple of times while I've been playing. Originally I stored both my turnips and DIYs inside my house. However, I ran out of room to store turnips in my house due to not having enough room for my materials, so I stared leaving them outside in a fenced area by my campsite. And then I started running out of room for my DIYs, so I put them in that same area as well. But now I've started cleaning things up, so I no longer have any DIYs outside and I currently have enough room to store some turnips inside.

Ideally, I would have both inside, both to keep my island cleaner and to avoid any potential risk of somebody coming over and stealing them in case I've failed to fence them off properly. I can do this more easily with the DIYs since I've managed to get rid of a bunch of them (and plan on limiting how many I'm keeping on hand), but with turnips I can really only do it if I have only 1 inventory full load, else I'd need to keep putting them outside.

I stored mine in my basement, but recently decided to take a break from buying turnips. The last few weeks have been lucrative enough that I won't need more IGB for a while. So now my HHA doesn't have to suffer anymore (*cough* except for the metric ton of DIYs and bugs in the attic...).

I don’t really buy turnips.
All of my spare DIYs are stored inside my house on the floor of the main room, I should really move them down to the basement but I get too lazy lol

I store DIYs outdoors because I can see them constantly. If I put them indoors I'm going to forget about them because as you very well know my indoors are barren lol

I used to store them inside my house. But I eventually ran out of space. I decided to throw them all outside for the heck of it!

Both outside. I have a stand setup for DIYs where I keep up to 10 (was 14 but I cut it down to make 5 star rating maintenance easier) DIYs. The next rare one I find, I replace one of them sitting out with it and sell the old one.

Then I also have a line of tables behind my shops where I store turnips - not a lot of them, the 8 stacks I bought this week is a personal record and it's usually 5. I think I have room for about 29 stacks if I count the floor. Normally I just use the tables so I'd have 13 spaces if not for the snapping turtle sitting on one of them.

I have both indoors but now its gotten to the point where i no longer have space inside my house that I have to use the beach. My HHA score is plummeting.
