Do you only play ACNL?

Do you play games besides ACNL? (in general, not just at the moment)

I LOVE my Animal Crossing, but sometimes it doesn't quite fill my needs. I like to play Pokemon as well, with the occasional Overwatch in between. But lately, I've been playing the heck out of ACNL and Pocket Camp!

I'm a traitor. I'm predominantly a Sony gamer - Nintendo is just my side chick.

I've been playing the Animal Crossing games since 2005 and it's always been something I've preferred to play in short bursts. It's cute and it's addictive and I play it consistently when I go through phases when I'm super into it but it just can't grip me in the same way an action-packed RPG can.

Consider me a traitor too. I'm almost exclusively a Sony guy myself, but I love my Nintendo handhelds.

To answer the question, yes, I play other games. Animal Crossing is a small part of my gaming library.

I tend to only play one "real" game at a time, and often I'm not actively playing any--right now it's ACNL. The "real" game is WoW, or ACNL, or a JRPG or Zelda game, generally. I generally also have some lighter mobile games that I'll play when on public transit or while watching TV (ACNL I can sometimes watch TV and play, and sometimes not-it takes *just* too much attention). I have "real" in quotation marks because some people don't consider certain types of games to be "real" games. I don't hold to that, personally, but there is definitely an investment difference for me.

Right now the mobile games are a solitaire game and 1010, a game where you get tetrinomo-like pieces and you have place them on a 1010 grid. Clearing a line works horizontally or vertically, game ends when you can't place your pieces.

Definitely play other games besides ACNL even though mainly playing it right now.ACNL is fun but doesn't offer the same experience as a JRPG does. So play both rpgs and AC at the same time. Could never only play AC at a time because there's not as much story like when playing an rpg!

I just got back into Animal Crossing after a good break. Mainly play PlayStation, like Overwatch, Friday the 13th, Skyrim, RDR2, and a few others. I have my old Nintendo but my power cord broke so I haven?t been playing that much. Even though I play many other games, ACNL is definitely one of my top played games with the most hours! I?m addicted again lol

I re-purchased the new 3DS XL last month just for getting ACNL again, and thats all I have played on it so far, but I do plan to get a few others for it eventually. Besides that, I play PS4, but basically have only been playing Fortnite for ages now. I have recently bought BO4 to play Black Out, but haven't got completely into it really good yet. Lately it's been mostly ACNL, and still a bit of Fort.

It?s swings and roundabouts for me. I tend to focus and play the hell out of just one game until I get bored with it and then switch to a different game. So I play a lot of different games, but not regularly. And the types of games I play vary greatly too. So for example I?m on an AC binge but before that it was The Isle. And before that it was Skyrim and Frostpunk.

I did buy a 3ds specifically for acnl bc I didn't know acnl existed and I was on wild world for a longgggg time. I do play other games occasionally but acnl is basically all I play. Basically I find a game I like and then i'll play it obsessively until I find another game I can get addicted to llol

I mainly play ACNL, but I like to play other games casually too, like Mario Kart or Tomodachi Life. There are periods in which I don't touch my 3DS at all and usually NL makes me get back into it.

When I got my 3ds, I did not get it just to play one game. MK 7 was my first game for my 3ds and I did not buy ACNL until I had already had a few games to play because I had never tried Animal Crossing before and wasn't sure if I would like it. I play a lot of ACNL, but I get bored playing only one game so I will take a break from time to time to play other games. Some of the other games I like to play are LOZ: breath of the wild, Story of Seasons, Splatoon, MK 7/8, and Pokemon.

Even though I have played a ton of New Leaf, I also play a ton of other games as well especially on my Wii U recently! :) I also love playing many of the masterpieces on the GameCube as well which is my favorite console! :D

Well, for some people, ACNL might be the main video game they play, but they might pursue other hobbies in their free time. Playing more than one video game is kind of an arbitrary way to judge how one spends their time, when there are so many things in life one can spend time on. As far as the 3DS's cost, for some it might not be a big deal, and/or they spent enough time on AC:NL over the years for it to be worth it. I'm not personally that desperate for AC Switch (I'd be happy with a holiday release or next year, even) and happily keeping busy, but I can understand the frustration. I think many are just annoyed at the lack of any information at all, and would be happy with a mention of *something* -- whether it's a quick clip of the beta version so far, a title-card, or a rough release month.

I pretty much only play ACNL and bought a 3DS specifically to play it. I understand why it might seem odd to do that but considering I've spent nearly 3000 hours playing the game and have had tons of fun over that time, I personally think it was money well spent. :)

I've also been saving up for a Switch for several months so that I'll be able to buy one when the new AC comes out. The Switch is terribly expensive but if the game seems any good I'm willing to buy one~

I play other games, although admittedly not that many, partly due to focus issues and partly due to not budgeting for new games very often. But I've definitely been getting more into PC games after I got a Steam account a year or two ago.

I do own a few other games, but during the school year I only play New Leaf. (Partly because games are expensive here ;) + partly because studying comes first.) It doesn't really get boring because I never force myself to play.

I've also found that to make any decent progress in a lot other games, you have to play for 30+ minutes. I just don't have the time for that! :p

ACNL has helped me through some very difficult moments in my own life, maybe it sounds silly that a game could have that much impact, but it has, and I'm not ashamed to say so.
I play other games as well, like Pokemon, and FEH, which really fills that need to push my brain for strategies, but ACNL is my go to game to relax and unwind.

I play a decent amount of ACNL, but I feel I'm here more often than I am playing the game. I'm a sucker for games that can be played by children, i.e. ACNL, Star Stable, Alicia Online, and random things like Kitty Power's Matchmaker. I have an embarrassing list of games that I most frequently play, I know. 3/4 are largely about animals.
I like really any game involving animals, horses specifically, no matter how sucky or childish it is. My boyfriend really got me into RDR2, but I can only play it when I'm with him, which is only about 4 times a year in 2 week blocks, considering we're long distance. I like a lot of MMOs, which two of my frequently played games are. My boyfriend makes me play Vanilla WOW a lot, which I sometimes enjoy, but I mostly enjoy it because it's one of his favorite games and it makes him happy when I play, lol. Oh, and Tomb Raider! I don't really like the recent ones, but the first few are pretty good :)

There was a long period of time when I only played ACNL but now I play other games more.
