Play Animal Crossing Deluxe with me?

Hello all,

For those who don't know, ACDX is a mod of ACPG that brings about many quality of life changes and new mechanics that revitalize the game. It retains the charm of the original but also incorporates some modern game-play, such as watering flowers to breed them. Another user here gives a pretty good introduction, although the mod has been updated much since then.

I would love to find a circle of interested parties so we can share our memory cards to trade items and villagers, discuss progression, and just generally enjoy the first game in the franchise together. I know that there are codes that could help me get essentially every item in the game, but I'm looking for a more "pure" or "legitimate" experience, for lack of better terms.

My town is brand new, I've only just started yesterday! Ideally would like to play with people early in their saves as well.

oh yeah, i've been following that dev since their e+ translation project was just getting started, but i had never gotten around to playing acdx... i think i'll start a town tonight though, sounds fun especially with others to play with

That's awesome! Do you have Discord or a preferred platform to chat on? This forum is fine too if that's what you prefer.

i'd prefer the forum, at least for now haha. plus, maybe more people would start playing if they saw that there are already people actively playing/talking about it

i'm excited to try and get analog in my town. he's my favorite e+ penguin, and i was so sad he didn't make it into new horizons...

Yeah, that absolutely makes sense. Analog is adorable! This is my first time hearing of him.

Would you be interested in swapping memory cards so that we can visit each others' towns? I know we're both very early on in the game, but my native fruit is pears and once they grow back in a day or two, I'm looking to swap for some other fruits!

1. I'd get your save and add it to my slot B.
2. I'll visit your town in-game through Porter.
3. Since my visit affects your save, I would send the save back to you.
4. You'd replace your memory card with the save I send back to you.

yep, that's right. i've attached my save file here i haven't done much so far but i did manage to get a modern bed from a tree, which was great since i really like that set.

Beautiful, thank you so much! I aim to get your save back to you by 8PM PST time (about 24 hours from now). I really hope my fruit grows back tomorrow so I can drop off some for you. I'll also be sure to leave you some notes if anything happens.

thanks for the pears! that's completely fine, i'm glad you enjoyed it. i'd love to visit your town sometime too, if that's ok, but maybe in a couple days because i'm still broke

i left you some chestnuts, and bought this umbrella and a wallpaper from nooks. i also talked to gulliver on the beach, but i didn't realize he would actually give me his item...i don't really need a moai statue, so i left it behind as well.
