Do you feel bad saying no to villagers?

Yes. Poppy asked if she could have my arapaima and I said no.
Don't they give you more bells than what you could sell it at nook's? unless you didn't want to ruin their interior or you were planning to sell it to CJ.

I once had Marina give me a really hard time when I had a harp in my pockets to take to a friend's town to let her catalog it. I definitely don't like turning them down. Took me a solid minute or so to click no. Thankfully she took the pressure off after I said no twice, but wow.

Yeah, I don't like changing their interior. I never cared about this in previous AC games up until now. And I don't want Bells, I want clothes or furniture. xD

Yes, unless they're asking for something ridiculously expensive. Well, I still feel a little bad, but it doesn't stop me.

I don’t feel about about buying or selling. The one thing that makes me feel a little guilty is when they ask to call me something that someone else calls me and I turn them down and they imply we aren’t close friends.

“Oh... I can’t call you that? We must not be there yet.” Or something along those lines.

I never tell my villagers no, unless they request me to catch them a critter, then ill say no, because i'm too lazy to fish/bug hunt tbh.

Yesterday tho... I caught a flea off Genji, and like 10 minutes later Audie requested to have it.. and that was too funny to not say no to!!

Yeah, I do, but I don't want to fill their houses with fish or bugs. :(

I send them fruit or something after saying no to them.

I always feel guilty, so I tell them that I'll catch the fish.. and then avoid them for the rest of the day haha. But I always say no to deliveries. I'm still not over Sheldon giving Kidd an "apology" dress :(

I relented and did a delivery for Mathilda to Shep.

I was horrified when he put on the suit of lights.

He asked how he looked and I chose the 'not so good' answer.
He said he wouldn't wear it, but I dunno.

It's in his inventory now, and I just know it will come out eventually. (Just like this version of Shep will.)

I pretty much never say no to them. Sometimes I’m a bit annoyed that I’m selling an item at a loss, or that they’re creating yet another unflattering nickname, but for me it adds to the realism if I don’t control everything. I only say no on the very rare occasion that they ask to buy or trade something rare, like a fish or fossil, that I already intended to use.

Oh man.. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I told Kidd the same thing and he did not take my fashion advice. He wore that dress more often than his default clothing. I had to move him out and back in again to get rid of it

i feel bad when i KNOW i'm gonna get that "friendship meter" tune after i say no, meaning that my friendship w them has gone down.

i keep all houses 100% og or else v carefully gift specific items, so i am always saying no) it gets depressing, tbh. if we had the market still, and could buy back pieces or had an HHD element, i would be less stringent and nicer, but, alas. the slow slow crawl to max friendship is besieged with denials of daces.

Lol I just want their pics, but they keep giving me bells or terrible clothing.
I'd rather take the clothing. I don't care about 650 or 750 Bells. I like getting pictures, though.

Sure do. The more I play the game, the easier it is for me to emotionally project less onto my villagers, though. I'm saying no more these days, and feeling less guilty about it!

i definitely do. the other day, zucker asked for the kandoora that was in my pockets and not wanting to give him unoriginal clothing, i declined. that’s when homeboy decided to bring out his puppy-dog octopus eyes and say how much he really wants it.

long story short, zucker is now wearing a kandoora ;;

Have any of your villager offered you something but will not tell you what it was unless you agree to trade with the item they want from you (and usually item we don't want them to have)? Yeah, they can do that. They are full of tricks I tell ya but as a clever being, I just said no. I don't feel guilty at all. Hah!
