Hmm, I guess I'm not saying this right...there not committed enough is what I shoulda said, it doesn't necessarily make you crappy....Shiny said:Ah, I see. I guess my school is full of a bunch of crappy wrestlers.John102 said:Yeah, I can understand where you're coming from, but the good wrestlers don't actually do that. The only wrestlers that spit in a bottle are wrestlers who splurged right before a match or something and they're doing whatever they can to lose weight. Good wrestlers stay dedicated to what they eat so that they don't have to go to extremes like that before a match. I personally have never done that because I'm pretty good about eating, and I run a lot so I can lose water wight that way.Shiny said:I think it's disgusting what wrestlers do to themselves just to be at a certain weight. Carrying bottles around to spit into... it's just horrible. People would do anything in the name of "winning". I mean, not to diss your sport or anything. You know.John102 said:Lol, I REALLY care about my weight during wrestling season because we have to be at a certain weight to be in a certain weight class, but that's about the only time I really watch it closely, I'm very healthy right now, so if I keep doing the same thing I've been doing(eating healthy, and staying active) I shouldn't have anything to worry about. The sad thing is, that's one of the two things my school is known for: wrestling and ROTC. Wow.
My school is known for JROTC and wrestling too =0, except we're also known for football(state champs this year) and soccer(state champs 2 years ago) =0000
