I want a 5 star island just for the lily of the valleys and the golden watering can, but other then that as long as I like the appearance of my island I don’t really care if my island stays 5 star.
I think my island is at 4 stars right now, which is kind of surprising since it’s currently a jumbled mess
my goal was to get five stars at first just so i could get the golden watering can diy, but then i heard that golden tools still break. i still (somehow) got five stars, but i'm not motivated to keep it except to spawn a few jacob ladders. i'm not really afraid losing it like i was back in new leaf.
I'm still currently at 4 stars, and I am working on getting that 5 star rating, mostly for the lily of the valley flowers, and also, it's a nice feeling I suppose!
But the flowers and gold watering can are the main incentives.
I don’t. The lilies of the valley are gorgeous, but I’m stuck at 4 stars because according to Isabelle “there are too many trees”. Well Isabelle I’m making a forest island, I’m not about to slap monster statues, diner furniture and vending machines all over the place lol
I have the exact amount of trees I can have to stay at 5 stars, if I plant one single tree more my rating will drop to 4.
I will stay here until I have amassed a bunch of lily of the valleys (they're so pretty), and then go back to planting trees everywhere regardless of Isabelle's tree-hate.
I was not actively seeking a five star island. Today I noticed that a Jacob’s Ladder had bloomed and realized I had 5 stars without knowing it. I would like more of these flowers but at the moment it is not my top priority.
not right now, i still need to plan my island layout but tbh im too lazy to do it. if i ever get really bored and have a lot of time, I'll probably work towards it.
I care about in so far as getting more lillies of the valley and the initial gold watering can recipe once I have enough flowers I will subsequently completely disregard the who rating system as I attempt to create an island that’s perfect to me and not necessarily what the game considers perfect.
I'm sure a full decorated island will achieve this, I'm at 4 and nowhere close to finishing, so I'll get there, but is no the end of the world, not having 5 stars.
I only cared about getting to three stars so I could unlock terraforming. After that, I completely stopped caring. I am in no rush to get to four or five stars. Currently, my town is covered in hundreds of stacks of turnips.
Does it lower the rating? Definitely. Do I care? Definitely not.
not necessarily. i’d love to get to 5 stars at some point for the golden watering can diy and for jacob’s ladders but i’m not really in any rush for that aha
Not in the slightest. I'll get there for the gold watering can recipe, but after that - not a worry for me. I like mums and roses and windflowers more than the special flower.
