Exactly! Whenever his Reset Center is open and I stop by to give him praise, he just shuts me out, but it's ok, I know deep down he loves me, he just can't ruin his image as an almighty god.

I use them all the time! I try to incorporate them always and make them look like they are doing things in the houses.

I never had them in my house in New Leaf or Wild World but I did in Gamecube. Probably because they weren't as prevalent to me in the games after (something about a gyroid always wobbling around in front of your house makes them more memorable lol), but I think I'm going to incorporate them into my house in New Horizons!
i was never really a fan of them, they're kinda freaky looking but they also never really went with my rooms aesthetically anyways.
plus in new leaf it'd always annoy the hell out of me when i's dig up a gyroid while trying to hunt for fossils so i'd sell them all out of spite.

I want to like them, but I don't. They're such a symbol of the series so I appreciate them for that as well as their uniqueness, but that's really all I can say... honestly, they're ugly-looking and the noises annoy the hell out of me, so nope. No gyroids in my house. In NL, I would save them until they went on premium and then sell them all at once.
I never really used them in my house, but I did start leaving a couple of them outside in some places to act as a little lawn ornament. I'll probably be using them a lot more in New Horizons to add a little something to yards and gardens!

No, I haven't used any gyroids as decorations in New Leaf, although I did in Wild World! I have all my favorite types stuffed in my museum collecting dust. Some of my favorites include Gongoid, Garlgloid, Nebuloid, Quazoid, Lullaboid, Bovoid and the Brewster collection. (Not sure if I misspelled any.) I couldn't think of a unique way to incorporate any of the gyroids into my home decoration, so I just added whatever gyroid I dug up and liked to my expanse collection. I've always liked the sounds they create, but I never had the patience to synchronize them with my K. K. Slider music - and the only reason I even know it's possible to do so is because I've seen other villagers, like Cube have a pre-set theme. About the only thing that bothers me about gyroid is their origin, which once you're aware about, raises a few questions, like: "Did my villager really move out, or were they axed?

aww! i'm glad you enjoy them too! it's nice to use them in place of a mannequin for sure. makes it look more lively when they move, even if you don't have them moving- they can still look just as nice! i can't remember the names of the ones i liked, just the colors LOL.
yay!! i see a lot more people saying they're intending to incorporate it into their islands on new horizons. i think that's a lovely idea and maybe they'd somehow look even more cuter and softer in colors and texture with the new game! everything looks pretty after all- even the pears tbh.
very sad!! :^( at first tho, i felt the very same!! ngl!! but when i discovered more and more pretty ones like the pink ones with the heart on top of them i was like..omg what have i been doing?? they can be super nice with lots of designs i think a lot missed out on! but yeah selling them too can ring in the bells for sure <3
at least you can appreciate them which is still super nice! a lot can be very ugly looking but i do believe there's also some cute ones in the mix as well~ i was genuinely surprised when i discovered that! but if you end up selling them this time, hope you make good bells!
that's very cute. a lawn ornament idea is nice! i think we should have more freedom in new horizons to display them fully outside now (i hope) so i'm sure it would be lots nicer!

okay! to catalog them is also good. i think i'd probably hold onto them in this one or sell ones i'd never use maybe. but for the most part i do enjoy them!

LOL! that's for sure a creepy thought. i usually had them just standing still in rooms, my rooms mostly had themes like greenhouse/cute pink room of whatever lol so i just fit gyroids that fit the look and color scheme. that was about it~ i enjoyed just seeing them there bc for me- they looked really good in my rooms with those themes! <3 at least you enjoyed using them in previous games so that's still nice!

I use gyroids to accompany the music. My favourite ones are the dekkoid gyroids, the brewster gyroids, and the ones that sound like cows (the one that Tipper owns).
there's.. ones that sound like a cow??? maybe i've heard it but genuinely can't remember but that's cute for sure. i love the brewster gyroids too! they were very funny and unique, i liked doing the cafe to get duplicates of some until i completed his lil tasks

Yep! Upon researching their name, the gyroids that sound like a cow are called bovoid gyroids (gotta love that reference to the word bovine)! There are only two variants, which are mega bovoid and tall bovoid.

I never did because for some reason I use to think they were ugly and gross but now I love them! I think they are so fun and I really love the noises they make. I wish I had incorporated them into my new leaf houses.
that's pretty cute!!! i feel like i may have had one but can't remember, they look oddly familiar too!! i probably didn't use them tho since they weren't in a color scheme i was looking for at the time

<3!!!! gyroid love. it grows on u little by little ;u; when i first obtained them they were hideous and i was like nope! but the more i saw them and their own designs and differences, the more i loved them! and it's okay! you may get to incorporate them in new horizons so that will be exciting~ i'm sure they'll look much more appealing too

yes! <3 I am super excited to use them in new horizons (hopefully!) and I also am looking forward to seeing what they look like and if there are any new designs :3
i'm hoping for some new designs too. i somehow think with how pretty and soft and cute this game looks, maybe the gyroids will also have some more appeal! im hoping at least~
