If so, what did you preorder? The bundle, the console, Mario Kart World, Pro controller, games?

MyNintendo's store will start taking theirs on May 2nd, so if you have not been successful yet, don't despair.

Yes I did! I got the Mario Kart World Bundle along with 2 wheels from Walmart at midnight!

I preordered the MKW Bundle, Pro Controller, and Tears of the Kingdom. I sold my Switch back in 2022, so I didn't get the chance to play TotK. I can now play it for the first time on a much better system.

Yes I pre-ordered it back in January.

I'm a little bit sad actually. Despite registering interest, I've been a Nintendo customer for 2 decades now , I have a subscription to their online (albeit not quite 2 years), opted in newsletter, but still haven't had an email saying I can preorder via their website.

I did want the GC controller. Obviously I'm not appreciated.

Nope. I have no plans on getting it yet since my switch is still new - got it a year ago and so is my new switch lite which I got sometime when my first switch lite was starting to die sometime last year too.

I was able to pre-order the Switch 2 yesterday with the Mario Kart bundle. I gave my dad money to do it for me since I had to work. He said there were about 40 people outside before the store opened, so I’m glad he was able to get there early. He was the second person in line after getting there at about 5AM. The line kept growing and growing up until noon when the store opened.

He’s actually the one that insisted on going early. I didn’t foresee a huge crowd of people wanting to pre-order, but I’ll admit I was wrong. I’m glad I have it, though, and I am excited to pick it up at the midnight release!

Just came back from Pre-ordering from my Local Gamestop Canada store. Reddit posted that Gamestops had Switch 2 today and to check their webpage for your location. I was the only person in the store and the person said they got an email today to allow more pre-orders. Just purchasing because my June 2017 Switch sometime has the black screen and take awhile to start up.

Reddit said that Gamestops online are cancelling orders for bots and duplicate orders.

While I considered pre-ordering a Switch 2 now, when it's reasonably affordable and justifiable before the economic impacts are truly felt down the road, I'm focusing on getting a computer for right now.

This is probably the absolute best time to buy one, but I'm just going to hope there's another window of opportunity for me later on.

This is why I ended up deciding to preorder. It feels so likely that things are only going to get worse in the U.S. with item costs and tech availability. I know I’m going to want a Switch 2 down the road, so I decided now was probably the best time to buy.

Took over an hour to get the order through on release night, though! I just went for the Mario Kart World bundle, no extras aside from the game.

No. I was planning on buying it if there was a new Splatoon game but I can't justify it and the new direct that premiered it just made me mad the whole time I was watching

I was able to preorder the Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle on Best Buy after a massive delay in their preorder release. I don't plan on buying much in the beginning just to see how the prices pan out for games and I'll be pretty satisfied and busy with the gamecube games for NSO members. I do want to get an SD card but I am not sure which one to get and right now they are kind of pricey.

My preorder has been processed and is ready for dispatch ready for delivery on release date.

Apparently there's a day one patch that unlocks the device but I can't see that being true for game card games, anyone that doesn't have internet won't be able to use their £400 product otherwise.

I pre-ordered as soon as it was available (the same day as the Direct, I believe). I've pre-ordered the standalone console, Mario Kart World as a cartridge, Split Fiction (download code), Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar (releases in August), and a few accessories (charging grip, microSD card, and an additional charging cord, since I like to play handheld).

This is my first time buying a console at release, so I'm feeling good about it. I hope you're all looking forward to getting your new consoles next week!

Interesting to see GAME (UK) have today, cancelled many Switch 2 preorders with no explanation why.

The company which is already in a considerable mess IMO (expensive compared to online, recently closed it's head office, hardly anything on the site when you search for new games).

My guess is they're about to lose a good few more customers.
