Custom Sign PWP Question

Hiya, can anyone answer this for me: If I chose to build the custom sign PWP, is it only my mayor character who can customise what it displays or can my second character also display a design on it? Thanks!

If you're asking this because you're concerned about pattern storage- if you change a sign, and then delete the pattern in your inventory, the pattern will still remain on the sign.
