I would agree with most of you guys here, the phrases are very difficult to make, and when you FINALLY make them, when they say them out loud, it just doesn't work for me, but, whenever I get a villager I don't like, I always give them a greeting like "I'm moving out" and when I forget about this, and just talk to them, I get SO HAPPY when they say it, then I remember

But, villagers I have got from other towns sometimes had annoying stuff like "I WANT A NEW PWP", which is what my Melba says, and I get happy when Melba says that because I'm like "YES! A new Public Works Project" but then I remember, and it is just a let down, and I hate the way that the previous owner made Melba say that.

I just change it to whatever comes to my mind. Ed says Mah Boi, Genji says senpai and he got Sparro to start saying it too. The only villager I won't change the phrase for is Jacques, I really like Zut alors because its Freanch for dang it. :3

I often give whatever I'm feeling. So Ankha once said "..so hungry. " haha. It was hilarious for me.
..so sleepy.
Stuff like that. ^^

The second Lobo asked for a phrase, I made it "Moon Moon."
Now Lolly and Lucha say Moon Moon too.
They are all Moon Moon. Every one.

I like giving them phrases/greetings like "Princess!" or "Cuppycake!" because it sounds like they're giving the player a nickname. Before he went Moon Moon, Lucha alternated between those because those are nicknames boyfriend calls me. Actually, a lot of boyfriend's little quirks end up on my animals lol...

Rosie's greeting is "Special Showtime!" because boyfriend's favorite female voice in PSO2 always shouted "It's special showtime!" while fighting. Plus it fits her peppy personality. I don't remember her phrase, but I -finally- got her to stop saying ****ing "SILLY" I freaking -hated- when her phrase was "silly" and it spread like ****ing wildfire and there was NOTHING "silly" about it ><!!!

Ankha's phrase is "Cleocatra" because she looks like an egyptian kitty figuring my grandmother gave me for christmas, and her name's Cleocatra. Phoebe started saying it too lol, and it completely doesn't fit her. I don't remember what Phoebe's old one was. Meh.

Lolly, before she went Moon Moon, used to simply say "mew" and it was so simple and cute because when I hear "mew" in my head I think of the Pokemon and the cute sound she makes and ugh my heart...

Puck gets any and all ice puns.

Bunnie hasn't asked yet but I'm sure I'll have -plenty- of fun with her.

Kid Cat got "GOTTA GO FAST!" for his greeting and "Speedracer!" for his phrase. Just fits him. Also...boyfriend loves speedracer zzz lol.

If I can't think of anything I just end up giving them something dumb or food-related or something dirty for kicks. I still think Moon Moon is my most amusing one though, because it spreads like wildfire xD

I forgot Flurry, but Flurry also really hasn't asked yet. I know she stole "cuppycake" before Lucha got Moon Moon fever, but I figured maybe she'll get snow puns so she and Puck and go together even better than they already do lol.
