I remember getting this early on. I didn't want to look how close I was because I knew I had caught a lot in a row. Had like 90 when I looked because I couldn't help myself. Never been so nervous/hands sweating catching those last 10. Did NOT want to go through all that again. Now fishing is easy though.

It's easier if you just listen for the sound and you have decent reaction speed and not look at the screen. I got it without trying because ever time I looked I would mess up my streak. I think the reward is like 5k miles for 100 catches which isn't that much and you can get more by doing the smaller nook miles quests in the same amount of time.
It sucks, but she'll have to start over.
When going for that one, you have to remember that you have to catch every fish. If you ever cast line, make sure there is no chance the fish will be drawn to it before you reel it if you accidentally cast it. Otherwise, you'll have to catch it. And remember to go by sound.

Legendary Something or Other
i feel this pain a lot... I got mine up to 89 then i messed up because of my cat. T^T After that I haven't really 'tried' for it. Not looking forward to trying to get it again.
This achievement just kinda sucks tbh, I grinded it out on like the 3rd day the game was out so I could fish without the pressure of losing my streak. Nook Miles challenges are cool but some of them can be a bit of a drag.
