Can you re-adopt amiibo villagers?

If a villager that came from an amiibo moves out, can you get him to the campsite and have him move in again?

I believe so! Theres no more villager cycling in this game.

Yes it works, I invited Goldie to move in, kicked her out with Wolfgang and then kicked out Wolfgang with Goldie again.

It does reset the friendship, clothes, phrase, everything.
