Yo Guys and Girls.
Now most of you are in school and probably suffering at the hands of bullies wondering 'What the hell do I do?'
Well, people say 'Ignore them and turn the other cheek'. This is a start, but one which takes a ****ing unbelievably long time to kick in (since they have to mature first).
Coming from someone who dealt with his bullies I say you do this.
Bullying is a form of Projecting and the best way to stop projecting is to confront the source. Considering the person they are usually doing the ''Onion Effect'' (a self-dub, Think about the speech of Orges + Onions from Shrek.)) They hide behind so many layers by bullying people to make themselves feel better about themselves. However, upon theese layers being demolished their quickly exposed as weak and unable to bully.
Although this is probably one of the fastest ways its also one of the hardest and most likely to backfire. Not only are you going to have to find the route of their NEED to project and QUICKLY expose it you'll likely get beaten up if their tough ((Lashing out effect)). Though on the bright side they'll be thrown out.
Going back to the ignore tactic try doing that but doing it in a confident way. So if they call you a name you simply give them a look of 'Is that the best you have'? Or 'Really? Come on!' so you look not only confident but like their nothing. Again this will esculate things but after a while of relising you're uneffected they give up and move on, usually becoming your friend.
The two key points in MY opinion to stop bullies is maturity and confidence. If you're confident enough to put them in their place and handle it in a mature way you'll soon find they will think twice. Since bullies aim for people with low confidence and who have low maturity (so easily slip up and make asses of themselves). The key point is to, even if it is a facade, to keep it up. Eventually they give up and won't try it again.
The worst things you can do are:
Avoid them- This eggs them on as they KNOW they have got to you, they will then follow you to make it worse and get more fear from you. This includes avoiding their gaze/where they are/going to school.
Constantly tell on them etc. - This again eggs them on for the above reasons
Fight back in a physical sense- You get in the ****, not them.
Show signs of sadness/depression - If you make it obvious their making you this bad they'll continue to reinforce their status and to 'win'.
Do things to try and 'be friends' with them- If you do this 99% of the time they'll throw you in the dirt.
