I haven't played an MMO before. I'm thinking about playing something called Dofus since I saw and loved the first two seasons of a French cartoon called Wakfu, before it appeared on Netflix with a 4kids quality dub. I hear they funded the dub through Kickstarter and hired people that had no experience voice acting. It shows.
Anyway, looking up videos about this, the game seems to be flooded with bots farming everything, and there's the usual MMO complaints about balance issues. The third deterrent for me would me switching to the Unity engine resulting in altering the art style of the game. I don't think I can post examples of the art here.
Would these be big deal breakers for you?
