I even stopped myself from catching too many bugs last time so that I would get more motivation to participate in the last event. Guess I'll have to get my net ready!
I'll need to do a round when I get home from work so I can get my achievement. If I have enough points banked, I might see if I can snag some more spider webs. That's the only thing I would want more of.
Well, I missed the past two bug offs, so I'm still doing them. I don't think I've hit my bronze trophy yet either. I am collecting multiple of the bug shirts to give to my villagers. ā¤ I just dislike how all the bugs seem to disappear as soon as I start a round, but as soon as I get done they all come back!
I got all of the prizes and trophies during the first one, so these last three have just been me doing one round to get the stamp. Kinda a wasted day otherwise since villagers donāt even craft on competition days
I missed the second one so I'm gonna have to participate in just one more. But yeah, once I'm done with that achievement, I'll ignore the heck out of that event, it wasn't even fun the first time XD
this is technically my third bug off event, because i missed the very first one due to having real life stuff to attend to. because of that, i'm gonna work my butt off today so i can get all the redeemable prizes from flick before the season is officially over. i just need four more items ^^

I've actually time travelled back to this morning now, because I wanted a bit more artisanal bug cages, and I only got 2 after redeeming what must've been way over 400 points. So yeah, I'm still doing bug-offs!
I got all the prizes + trophies for the bug-off, and also got the "You've Got the Bug" achievement, so I just need to do one round so I can finally complete the "Bug-Off!" Nook Miles achievement. I might do a couple of rounds casually after that, but it's definitely not something I need to grind away at like I have in the past.
i do have a question about the redeemable prizes; do you automatically get each the first time, or is there a chance to get duplicates until you've obtained each item once?
After the first one, I've only been doing one round for each one since for the achievement. After this one, I'll probably won't do it anymore unless I need a prize for something.
I also participated once just to get the nook mile achievement but didnāt participate beyond that! I already have all the items and even multiples of some of them and I donāt care about the trophies that much so I donāt feel like I need to participate anymore
I still donāt have the gold trophy, so I will do a few rounds. Iām not in any hurry to get it though, so I may end up waiting until next year to get enough points.
