Brewster's Banter - General Discussion

Hi I'm back after a long long time but I don't know really where to go? Bc all the people I used to chat with I haven't talked to in a long time but I lowk miss TBT :(
I’m in the same boat as you, actually, after going on a bit of a hiatus almost a year ago and only popping in every once in a while to check events. It feels good to be back

I can't believe it's December! Time really does seem to fly by once October hits, I remember thinking wow it's going to take so long to get to the end of the year ... yet here we are. I'm glad this year is coming to an end, it was a good one don't get me wrong but I am looking forward to a new year and hopefully new changes.

Has it really been three and half months since somebody has responded here?

Oh, I guess this might be the place for this thought... has there always been advertisements on this forum? Have I been ignorant up until this point?

I am clicking on topics and getting overrun by ads for eyeglasses.

Gotcha, thanks @-Apples-, maybe since there are so many paid advertisements now, someone could switch these two threads to reflect activity? (This question isn't directed at you specifically!)

Just a general thought.

I'll start a discussion, How many animal crossing games do you own (if your answer is zero why are you here)
I own 2 but am about to get wild world
I own three different AC games (NH, NL, and HHD) but I own multiple physical copies of New Leaf... i think 3?

Oh and I also play Pocket Camp Complete if that counts!

I only have New Horizons. This is my first Animal Crossing game, but it’s pretty fun. Why had I not tried it before??

For physical games, I only own New Leaf, Happy Home Designer, and New Horizons (so i could play with a family member). For digital, another New Horizons and Pocket Camp Complete (although its a mobile game).

ACNL welcome amiibo, wild world, and HHD. I recently cracked HHD open and it was eerily similar to the ACNH dlc.
I had a copy of New Horizons+DLC which was my first game but I gave my Nintendo account to my friend a few years ago who has a switch since I decided to sell my switch to help pay for my deck. There were a few games on there including Okami which she really wanted to play Okami because it was similar to Zelda but as far as I know she hasn't touched the account. Hopefully I am wrong or that changes eventually.
I was hoping maybe she would try acnh since it was on there but she finds animal crossing boring when I asked lol. I thought maybe she'd like it because she like making up characters and she writes books. But we all play games for different reasons.

Everything I have is digital. I don't have any physical games anymore because I sold what physical I had the past few years. And most games I have interest in, like indie games or roms, don't have a physical version anyway. My deck doesn't have a cartridge slot and my new 3ds isn't supported by its maker.

I currently have Wild World, New Leaf, and New Horizons! Though I haven't touched my saves in forever. I also used to play Pocket Camp before it became Complete a few years back.

That being said, I hope I can play City Folk and Animal Crossing (GameCube) someday. o:

I have physical copies of Wild World, New Leaf, and New Horizons. I had Pocket Camp when it was still F2P but I never ended up getting Complete and have no plans to. For a while, I really wanted to play City Folk, so much that I wanted to buy a Wii U for that game specifically. I don’t think the game can be that good anyway, it’s probably either a better or worse Wild World, but I wouldn’t be opposed to trying it.

I have every game (even Amiibo Festival!) and two copies of Wild World, and three towns in New Leaf. I never had more than one switch, so I only had the one NH town. But I really miss playing online NL. IMO happy home designer was underrated!
