Brewster is never letting me work!

So it is past 11 am and I am trying to work for Brewster. But no matter what I do he won't let me! all my villagers are awake, I have no visitors, and it's not a holiday. I can place pwps just fine! Anybody know why Im not allowed to work?

I haven't worked for him yet today. Maybe it's beacuse my nooks shop is upgrading tomorrow?

My pockets aren't full, either. :/ if they were he would tell you I think, anyways. ^^
