Braces.

So I have braces, and I just got them tightened today. And I can usually handle the pain but this time it's too much.


Anyone have/had them?

My parents don't believe in braces, because truly, your teeth shouldn't be perfectly straight.

Oh, and the thousand dollar+ price tag turns them away.

NOOOOOOOO, the first day you get them.. Take advil or something before yu go get them on, it hurts sooo much.

I had them for years. I guess I had a good orthodontist or sommit, because the pain was never that horrible.

Ironically enough, I'm having an orthodontist appointment tomorrow to see if I'll need them.

@Colin - It hurts.. alot. Especially at the back one tooth is really small but still has the thing on it and when they put the elastic on it.. oh man. x']

I always dreaded, after getting them tightened, eating afterwards. Even if I barely let my teeth touch, it would be so painful. ><

I avoided them, unlike everyone else in my family. Unfortunately, my wisdom teeth will probably have to come out this year. That sucks, but not as much as braces.

I heard that getting those removed are a *censored.4.0*. It sucks you gotta get them removed soon. :\
