Brawl is free. Last I checked, it was a popular game. Now that I think about, I'll be surprised if Mario Kart Wii ISN'T free, too.

Like, unfortunately if it happens, Mario Kart Wii and Animal Crossing Wii.

Good thing Brawl online was said to be free before this stupid thing was announced.

Or maybe they just don't have it set up yet. I can try to eat a steak before it's fully cooked but I bet it won't taste as good (or be healthy >.<)

Brawl is being released BEFORE pay-to-play is going to be released, hence, it can't use it.

Just wanting to state my agreement...

The thing is, with Brawl and possibly Mario Kart Wii, Nintendo seemed to finally get online up to a standard gamers were okay with. Now with this pay to play thing Gamers have no reason to be satisfied.

Until info is released we have no reason to say it's going to be better. We have what we have now, a satisfying online feature WHEN FREE. Until Nintendo makes the leap into better online play I have no reason to think they will.

Now that things have calmed down let's stop with the long quotes and act more civil (not saying I have been).

Who wants to bet that if "Pay to Play" allows voice chat, no friend codes, and better match-making, NO third-parties will even support the old online mode?




Seriously, I'm glad this is coming. Hopefully they'll somehow be able to update Brawl for this.
