I was toying with the idea of creating a town with a desert theme (not to be confused with dessert) and I was trying to come up with ideas for which villagers would be a good fit. Ankha and Lucky would be essential of course, and I have a few other ideas brewing, but I'd really like to hear some ideas/suggestions from you lovely folks!
I'd say Kyle, as he kind of looks like a coyote. Some sort of rabbit to be a jackrabbit, I would choose Bonbon, Bunnie, Coco, or O'Hare. Also Snake, because snakes live in the desert.
Also Soleil. She is kind of "western" themed and her name means "sun". Sly the camoflauge alligator would fit in really well too. And also Avery looks like a vulture!
Perhaps Phoebe would work as well, given that she's a Phoenix and all, and their association with the sun. They appear in a few different cultures, but one legend has it that the phoenix lived in the Arabian desert, while another suggests an association with the Egyptian city of Heliopolis. Sounds pretty deserty!
Sly, Ankha, Lucky (since he's wrapped in bandages, he could be Ankha's 'mummy'), Daisy (She dreams of being an Archeologist), Clay (he looks like a clay doll), Coco and Kyle I think of
I think it depends, if you want something more like an Egyptian desert than coco, clay, lucky and ankha would be good choices to start, if you just like lucky and ankha but want something more like the savannah desert or along those linges, I'd suggest them with sly, annabelle, apollo, rocco, savannah, kitt, elvis, and rowan!
I think it would be cool to see a desert themed town. I agree with a lot of the villager suggestions here. I would also suggest Zell, and Bud or Eugene since they are wearing sunglasses and any mice because they are some of the little animals that live in the desert. Also some frogs do live in deserts.
These probably have all been mentioned over and over but.
I think Ankha, Coco, Chief, Alfonso, Amelia, Tia/Margie and maybe even Flora would fit. Somewhat.
If you want to take it more to the direction of a savanna than a desert, then Savannah, any of the lions, elephants and rhinoes would fit.
So many great ideas here, quite a few of which hadn't occurred to me at all! And I thought I'd have a difficult time finding ten to fit the theme, turns out the real difficulty is going to be narrowing it down to that many. Thanks to everyone who has suggested, you've got the creative juices really flowing now!
