Best Animal crossing game?

Pocket Camp. I don't think I have the time or patience to build up a town anymore & PC is completely mobile.

I think New Leaf was the greatest, but it might be because I have that bias as it was the game that introduced me into Animal Crossing.

I think my favourite has to be Wild World.. because I really loved the Flea markets, Yay Days and all those small events that was always happening. Also Pascal floating down the river and Gulliver yolo-ing in his spaceship, haha! I also enjoyed the villagers personalities more, like when they got mad, hehe
New Leaf has the most beautiful design tho

I love the WW personalities, and the way Blathers prattled on when you donated stuff.
I also liked the fish, bug, and flower graphics in WW.
NL could have done a lot better in that department..

But.. the other graphics and content are far superior in NL, and I could never go back to WW.

PC, I wouldn't waste my time or money on.
Phones are for calls and texting. (IMO)

It's obvious New Leaf is going to get the most votes (this is the category for NewLeaf after all) But also because it's the latest installment, so hopefully they do make each title greater then that other. I enjoyed AC for the gc and NewLeaf equally. I played WW and it was cool with the constellation thing.

But I never got into City Folk, I bought if after Christmas the year it was released and returned it. I never even opened the game. I guess it was too soon after WW and I was just burnt out from AC. I hear that happened to quite a few people actually.

But yeah each game had something unique and sadly some of it was removed in New Leaf. Constellation creation, less but more dialogue oriented/fleshed out personalities for villagers, the way CF had the plaza set up.

I agree that Wild World was great, although I like New Leaf as much. For me they are both great. I don't play Pocket camp, I don't like games on my phone.

The 3DS is backwards compatible, meaning you can play Wild World on 3DS.

I met the Animal Crossing franchise a little less than four years ago and only now I started to play (I wanted to have started before, that's fact). I really like New Leaf. I tried playing Wild World and City Folk, I had a lot of fun, but I still prefer the New Leaf.

personally, i think new leaf is the best. i really like the game design and the fact that you get to be the mayor of the town. the graphics are also a lot better than the previous games, but i still love city folk and wild world (for nostalgic reasons of course). new leaf also seems to have a lot more added to it, such as the pwps, campground, and etc. my least favorite is probably pocket camp i guess? i mean i do play it from time to time, but it seems to be pretty mainstream compared to the previous games which loses it's value to me. the game also requires a lot of patience, but i don't have much of that unfortunately oops
