After you come out the womb and get it cut you still have like remains of the umbilical cord still on your stomach that the birth mom/dad or whomever has to clean for the next couple days 'til it comes off (I've heard it's pretty disgusting...).
So I mean maybe you might be right but I don't know, I think it's just genetics. xD I dont think they cut it so weirdly that it'd cause it to pop out but I'm just regurgitating information I learned in Child Dev/Parenting.
But anyways, I'm an innie as well
(also one vote for alien... suspicious)
Well it isn`t like a "hole", I can see something inside it. I have no clue whether it is considered an innie or outie though. It did seem to have changed a little when I gained more weight (I was underweight for a couple of years during my childhood).
So I`m not sure, but it does look different from most people I know. Not that I stare at their belly buttons all day.
Ok, I looked up some pictures online, I have an innie.
I forget outies even exist until someone brings it up or I see one. And even then, it's not like people go around showing their belly buttons to each other, so seeing one is pretty rare.
I have an innie belly button, and it's actually really deep and super freaky. I can fit almost my whole pinky inside of my belly button. (My pinky fingers are really small and short, but still! Lol)
