Hiya! I'm shocked I haven't joined this forum before, because I've been playing Animal Crossing since the Gamecube!
I'm Faith, and I'm 32, and I live in the American Midwest. I really hope I get to meet lots of fun and like minded people on here, I don't really do modern social media besides Tumblr and I'm still on Gaia. I also have a Neocities!

Right now I've been kinda in and out of New Horizons and New Leaf, but I do think New Leaf is closer to what I want in an AC game. I'm tempted to come back to Wild World for a spell, since it's been so long! I also own City Folk and Population Growing. I don't think I can bring myself to restart on either of those games, I get really sentimental...

My favorite character is Brewster, and I have a very messy and chaotic looking island lol because I'm really just not that good at all the outdoor decorating, I like decorating indoors a lot more.

I can't say I have a single favorite villager, but I really have loved having Renee on my island recently. I love sheep villagers but they look kinda awkward in New Horizons...

Aww thank you! I know I am always drawn to quirky internet places, and being on both has been an adventure I have never regret sticking with my original files, at least so far!

also gaia takes me back, but i was more a AOL Red Dragon Inn grade roleplayer girl in those days, though i had friends using it. i used to be a tumblr poet in my early 20s but i took everything down for reasons

Omg Red Dragon in is giving me vivid flashbacks! The internet really did feel like it was 80% roleplay and the rest anime fanart back then to me because I was on AOL chatrooms too awkward to talk and on DeviantArt looking at all the cool art I wanted to make.

Tumblr has been one of those things I've been on for over 15 years now, but I spend long periods of time neglecting it because there's something about it, I can't pin down what it is, that gets to be very overwhelming to me and I have to take a break from it or it just feels like work. I hope you're still working on your poetry if that's something you love to do. I recently learned about a couple things online that I'm considering using myself for writing;

Calmly Writer, an in-browser minimalist word processor ,
ichi city, a webpage host,
and
Thoughts.page, a small blogging site you make for yourself where no one can @ you and it seems to allow some customization

Maybe these would appeal to you too? I'm always kinda surprised at how many places and tools are out there on the indie, retro, and smaller web for all kinds of specific needs. Ever since I got this laptop a couple years ago I've been able to go back and see how the internet changed while I was taking psychic damage from my phone lol
