You just had to start this didn't you...

My alignment is with a company in Redmond starting with an M. Incoming wall of text from Tyeforce.

Windows 7. I grew up with Windows. Still hasn't even touched a Mac.

Mac OSX Leopard. Although I intend to buy either Windows 7 or a desktop with Windows 7 soon.

No hardcore open source people? Darn, that race that is really dieing out.
I've been using Linux since XP days and I really enjoy it. I used to have in on my work laptop when my desktop was down. Right now I'm building a desktop with a 1TB hardrive. (1024 GB). I'll most likely build it to be dualbooted with Linux and Windows 7. I might also build a hackintosh. Then again, I could always buy a very cheap mac and repair it up. For some odd reason, kids really think they are cool because they can use a opensource system. It really pisses me off, especially when those people don't know crap. I also have some couple of Window 98's and 95's around my house, and maybe a 3.0.

Coding / C++ = Linux
Work / MISC. = Windows 7
Screwing around = Windows XP laptop

i've been meaning to install a linux partition correctly

for about four years, now

I've only ever used Windows. Macs are too expensive, and I've heard that Linux is pretty awful.
