Barreleye

How big are the Barreleye fish? I know that they are rare, and that they spawn in the darkest hours in the night, but I had a hard time finding them, and I don’t know how big they are? Are they like horse mackerel size, barred knifejaw size, or red snapper size?

They're about Horse Mackerel shadow sized, maybe smaller, good luck!

Luckily, it was one of the first fish I caught. The shadow is the same size as the horse mackerel, and I caught mine by the pier.

I caught mine within three fish, but yes, as everyone is saying Horse Mackerel size. Additionally, according to the Animal Crossing Fandom its rarity is 5-Star (Scarce) so it's probably Stringfish levels of rare.

Yep! 9pm - 4am

They are the same size as horse mackerel. It took me almost six hours of grinding and 50 horse mackerel to catch one. Good luck.
