Balloons not spawning with 1.2.0. update??

No matter how long I wait literally NO BALLOONS have spawned.... Did Nintendo adjust the spawn rates or something? Is anyone else experiencing this? I know it's not the 300 balloon glitch since that was patched long ago. What's going on?

I have noticed the balloons spawn less frequent since the update. I did get one yesterday but usually I see way more than that.

I'm still getting balloons. They seem to be a little less frequent, but I haven't really been paying attention so I'm not sure how much of a difference there is.

I've waited by my coast for 15 minutes and no balloons... I check the left and right side of my island but nothing....

I played for an hour and randomly spotted 3 balloons, which seems typical for when I'm not camping and hunting for them.

I think it depends on your island. Mine spawn on the right after 6pm. You can tell by looking at the direction of the smoke in villagers chimneys though.

I still find them no problem, I think ever since bunny day they’re less frequent but I still get a decent amount.
