Solara originally from Serenity is moving to a deserted Island that she named Avalon.

Jan 1st - time for a new adventure

I headed out for the airport leaving Serenity behind. I will miss the friends I made there. A bit nervous but definitely excited. I met Roald and Ursula on the plane. They seemed just as excited as I was .

When we got there Timmy and Tommy told us to meet them in the plaza.

When we got to the plaza Tom Nook welcomed us to the island and told us all about the island and his plan for it.

He was to develop the island and eventually ask more villagers to move to the island. First thing is to get out tents and find a spot to put them. I went to talk to Tommy about my house not tent and he told me there was a problem. That my house and items were going to be delayed so a tent until they get here.

Timmy let me know how big the tents were so I could figure out the best place to put it.

I went and placed my tent on the beach . Then placed Ursala and Roald tents on the beach as well.

After the tents were placed we went back to Nook to help with setting up.

I wanted to go exploring before seeing what supplies I needed to go get but Nook was having none of that .

Ok fine what can I get for you while I go exploring. He wanted a bunch of sticks for the campfire. I grabbed a bunch of Apples as well.

Now it’s time for the welcome party -

Time to name the island .

After naming the island Nook named me island Representative.

It had been a long day and Nook suggested we have a nice nap . He gave me a camping cot and off I went to get some sleep.

I fell asleep pretty quickly and had a dream about K.K. Slider. It was about making my way in the world having my own set of rules.

He said to make sure to make I make lots of friends .

All of a sudden I heard someone calling my name . It was Nook and all I wanted was a bit more sleep.

He said he wanted to discuss a few things. He said that everything had arrived and he had with him a box with the word pockets on it.

He then helped me build my house.

He then let me know that since my storage and pockets were full . So he would hold onto them. I didn’t realize at first the he meant he would put them in the recycling box.

He turned on my phone and said since I already paid on my previous island I didn’t have to pay now.

Before he left he reminded me to pick up my stuff. I guess before someone else does or the recycling box gets emptied .

I went over to check on Ursala and Roald. Ursala was in her tent. She said she wanted to thank me for picking out a place for her tent.

She said she was thinking of how yo thank me when she thought of a DIY.

Will definitely make one later .

I found Roald fishing in the river. He was happy with where his house was placed. He also wanted to say thank you and gave me a hat.

It really is the perfect hat.
It been a long day and time to get some sleep .

Dec 3rd - Airport open, new shop , working on the entrance to Avalon


Woke up this morning to Nook trying to give the morning announcements. He didn’t have much to say. Our airport opened yesterday.

I did try and build a snowman yesterday.

He gave me a DIY for a table and a large snowflake.

When I went to see Nook he was talking to
Timmy. Timmy wanted to talk to Nook about opening a shop. Nook told Timmy he was confident he could handle it himself.

When Nook realized I was there he said he had something for me. He said it was a nook mile ticket. I could use it to get away from the island for a bit. I might even find some material or find someone who might want to join us on Avalon.

He said he would leave it at the airport. After talking to nook I wanted to see if Timmy needed any help with his shop.

He asked if I would help by gathering materials to build the shop. I will see what I can do. Not exactly sure where the shop will go so will try and find the perfect place .
He let me know what materials he needed.

I already had the iron nuggets so handed those to Timmy.

He gave me a garbage pail in return.

I had talked to Nook and he had asked me to show him any fish or bug I found.

He wanted to know if he could send it to a friend of his.

He gave me some fish bait to thank me.

Word spread pretty quickly that I was helping to build a shop. Ursala wanted to help so she gave me a stone axe. That will be helpful in getting all that wood we need.

Later on Roald stopped me and said he wanted to help too.

I spent the rest of the evening trying to work on the entrance. I think we are off to a good start. Going to try and figure out a place for the new shop as soon as possible.

After all that terraforming it’s time for bed . Goodnight .

Dec 4th - tents to houses , a new friend

Nook didn’t have anything new for the daily announcement . So he talked about buying a wet suit.

Both Roald and Ursala have moved out of their tents and into houses.

They are pretty proud of their house.

I noticed that they both still had sleeping bags. So I used a DIY and built them both a bed. I sent it in the mail.

I know I will need a lot of materials so decided to use that nook mile ticket that Nook talked about. I didn’t get much stone but I did find a new friend.

We chatted for awhile and he agreed to move to Avalon. I just need to figure out where to place his house.

I spent some more time terraforming the island. It’s a slow process but I think it will eventually work out.

Dec 5th - Roald’s Birthday

Today is Roald’s Birthday. Me and Ursala celebrated with him . I made him an apple pie. He seemed pretty happy with it.

It was a really nice party and we all had so much fun celebrating Roald. He told us about his dream.

I hope it works out for him . Hope he had a great Birthday.

I spent time fishing and catching bugs. Trying to get enough bells to repay my loan. I really need the extra space and storage.

Construction will be finished tomorrow. I am always so impressed with his fast he can get it built.

I did give him two more bugs to send over to his friend. Nook gave me some flower seeds in exchange for both bugs.

I also gave Timmy some softwood and he gave me a sweater.

I planted some flowers near the entrance. Did some terraforming and tried doing some planning on where to go next. Hopefully I can get some more terraforming done in the next few days.
