anyone else NOT burned out?

im not, i dont play it as much as when i first got it but thats bc ive been playing other games.

I don't understand the word "burnout."

With a great community here, it's hard to put down the game.

Honestly, the answer to that is playing in moderation like what others would say. (Unfortunately, I am also impatient sometimes when it comes to the things I want.)

Not burned out yet. There's always something to do.

For me, interacting with my islanders, stalking watching them, taking screenshots of them, these are the things in the game that I enjoy the most. Sure, I've heard most of the lines the animals have to say, especially the ones who have been with me the longest, but I don't think I've seen it all. Especially conversations between the different personality types. That's why I will always be moving one or two animals out for others.

I don't tt (except to move someone in or out) so I have autumn and winter to experience for the first time. I'm definitely looking forward to that! :D

I'm not burned out. I don't play quite as long as in the beginning, but in at the stage where in fine tuning and tweaking things, rather than building from scratch, so that makes sense.

I still have a lot I want to do on my island, so it's fun to log in each day and get a little more accomplished.

I’m at 850 hours and most of my island is done how I like it and I’m not burned out at all. Glad to see others feel the same!!

I got burnt out a couple of weeks back but thanks to the update I’m back to playing regularly! I’ve completed my art section of the museum as well as the fossil part but still have loads of fishes/insects/sea creatures to collect. I also haven’t gotten all of gulliver’s items yet.

I’m not racking up as much hours as before, but that’s because I’m not tt-ing/farming much these days (except for today! I think I’ll probably farm Gullivar a bit because it’s his first time to appear on my island and I want some of those pirate items lol) instead just taking it a day at a time. Also, my island’s probably just 50% done but I’m not worrying about it too much because If I do that’ll lead to another burnout for sure lol.

Still playing! I can play for just an hour, or spend an entire evening (or multiple) re-designing a part of my island.
To me, AC is a game that I want to relax in, so I am never really stressed about needing to complete anything. Sure, I'll put in some extra effort to catch bugs and fish, before they are out of season, but that's really the only thing that might feel like work.

I'm not burnt out, but I do have other hobbies. I'm getting close to finally finishing knitting a brand new scarf for my husband. I'm trying to decide if I want to learn piano or not. And (sadly) cleaning takes up game time.

But, I'm still playing almost 6 times a week even if it is just for a half hour or less. I have lots more to do. ♡

I relate to this way more than all the burned out posts. I’ll go through phases of liking the game intensely (like it’s all I can think about) and then taking a break with something else.

To me, trading online, item collecting, and buying things is super addicting!

I am definitely not burned out.
The game is very rewarding to play right after you come home after work.

I'm not burnt out, I was playing a bit less, but when I decided to redesign my island I started putting more time into the game again. I've got six villagers that I want to keep permanently and waiting for the next to move out in a week and a half so I can island hop for the next one. I may play less now, but I'm having fun designing my island. I liked what it looked like before, but I'm really starting to love it. I've still got a lot to do in the game.

I get burned out when I do the same things like if I don't make an area or see something new no matter how small or big it is. I think I would get to that point sooner lol.

No, not yet. I mean...I haven't grow every kind of hybrids, I haven't get all pictures from my villagers, there are still places I haven't start decorating...the list can go on and on. :ROFLMAO:

Sometimes when I just do the normal daily things...I will spend at least 2 hours, not to mentioned when I suddenly have an idea to decorate or redecorate an area, which sometimes could take me hours or days. o_O

The game is still very enjoyable, yes, there are some days where the rng makes me feel frustrated, but overall the game is soothing and relaxing for me. The community here is welcoming and friendly too. :giggle:

Even tho I can easily burn out if I play one game for a long period of time, I don't feel this way with acnh. Maybe it's because I can, at the very least, quickly check my island at the morning and at the evening, considering I don't redesign something, and just put my switch down, I don't know. There's still plenty of stuff for me to do in the game, plus the content updates... I don't see myself putting down this game for a long time cx

i haven't burned out yet but i'm starting to feel the heat.
i'm pretty satisfied with my island looks, and i still do the dailys - gifting fruits to everyone and stuff,
planting the money tree, talking to pascal...

it can take 1-2 hours - but i'm not sure why i still do it..
maybe its ocd to keep everything in place combined with guilt of not speaking to my villagers.

when the new month come i will have new stuff to catch for the museum but since i finished my monthly critterpedia i feel like a zombie in the island, until august comes again and give me fresh stuff to do - but it will last about for a week or so.

but then again sometimes u have a burst of creativity and u start designing/redesigning places..

overall the game really is huge and fun and i played it more then i played most games but yeah..
it makes sense that there are less stuff to do considering the huge amounts of hours put into it.

i'm a bit of burned and i mostly feel it at the end of month
but we're only in the middle of it.

i will still keep playing though cuz it became a chore like brushing your teeth lol.
This game really is amazing though.

I am not burned out at all, and I am unemployed. I do wish I had more people who played actively, and would visit my island from time to time whenever I opened my gate.

I’m not burned out, I reset my island about a month ago and honestly it saved me. I think at the beginning I was too caught up in rushing to make a perfectly designed island and such, but now I just take it slow. And I know with terraforming I could’ve flattened and started over and I tried that! But this is just much better now, I’m having a lot of fun and I’m excited for the updates to come. I heard we get dream towns in the August update! That would be amazing!
