Because I couldn't possibly keep it all straight and remember what each villager wants without writing it down. I have four towns right now, six counting my hubby's. Anyone else bother with this?

Or do you just let their Toy Day dreams go unfulfilled? Because I'm thinking of doing that...at least for one or two of my towns.

Yep! Thankfully I only have one town to keep track of though. Everytime someone mentions what they want for Toy Day, I write it down in the 3DS notepad.

I never bothered doing it last year but this time I will. I have a list on my phone using the memo app. I can't imagine what it's like juggling so many towns lol.

Like this, lol. If I didn't note all of their crazy wants, I'd bypass Toy Day. Every year. Forever.

Before I got my second copy, I used to write a list down in a notebook but now that I have double the villagers that are waiting on something from Jingle I started making a list on Google Documents as I also have it on my phone as well.

What! I couldn't dream of betraying my poor little villagers by not fulfilling their Toy Day wishes. I have a sticky note on my computer screen with everyone's wishes on it.

My first Christmas with ACNL I wrote down everything the villagers mentioned for Toy Day. I did this because 1) I didn't want to rely on my memory 2) my experience with villagers throughout the month is they had a tendency to changed their minds. So I am really glad I kept a running list!

yeah i keep a running list and even doing it for one town feels tedious. some villagers really don't like to talk about what they want jingle to bring them. i'm only doing it to make my villagers happy. i don't care about the jingle picture or the furniture.

p: sometimes they'll mention toy day but not even what they want so it's slightly frustrating. Blanche has been nice and told me the colour and type of item she wants, though.

I write everything down on a piece of notebook paper, but in a similar thread someone mentioned keeping a list in their letters in-game and it blew my mind.

I like to write down villager requests in the 3ds game notes. However, if I happen to not be playing for a while I will just play Toy Day and reset until I start getting them right.

I wrote them down using the letters in-game addressed to future me (I'm not sending them lol)

I've already written the list of what the villagers want using letters in-game addressed to future me as well. I also wrote it down on Notepad on my PC just incase. For some reason the 3DS Game Notes tool seems to not work with me; whenever I save a note it just disappears and doesn't even seem to save. Anyways, here's my list:

Mott wants a BROWN colored LAMP
Tangy wants a PINK colored FURNITURE
Beardo wants a BLUE colored UMBRELLA
Jeremiah wants a WHITE colored LAMP
Pecan wants a COLORFUL colored FURNITURE
Wolfgang wants a GRAY colored TOY
Paula wants a WHITE colored CARPET
Phil wants a BROWN colored ELECTRIC APPLIANCE
Vesta wants a ORANGE colored CARPET

(NOTE: If you have one of my villagers in your town, your villager will NOT want to have the same gift as the villager in my town)
As you can see, I used upper-case for the items and colours so it's easier to read and less likely for me to make any mistakes.

I did last year because it was my first Christmas with ACNL, but I don't think I'll do it this time as my villagers have a fairly nice house and I don't want them ruining their house, lol.
