I don't mind the personality, I'm just not that into their physical designs.

Dom is cute and I had him for a short while, but I can't think of any other jocks that appeal to me. idk, maybe one will prove me wrong one day.

Some of their talk is hilarious like when they use an exaggerated numbers. They'll say something like "When I woke up this morning, I completed 6451 crunches".

Or when you invite them to the campsite, they'll say something like "I was just finishing my short 19 mile jog when I got your invite".

I love them I'm into fitness irl and it's hilarious to see these cute fluffy animals talking about their "67 pack" abs and doing 7,000 pushups hahaha
I'm not ashamed to say if Nintendo dropped workout vids led by jocks I'd pay $$ to get swole like Dom (It would be adorable to watch, don't judge me)

I like the Jock personality well enough. A number of my favorite villagers are Jocks; Ribbot, Sprocket, and Sterling are my favorite Jocks, but I'm also fond of Boone, Bud, Cobb, Drift, Louie, and Mott. Dom sounds pretty good as well, from what people have said throughout the thread. Never really understood the disdain they seem to elicit from some people. They seem nice.

Personally don’t mind the workout dialogue as much as I dislike the bug talk from lazies...

I like jocks a lot more this time around than I did in NL, and the opposite goes for lazies. I want Teddy because he looks like this big bulky bear but he's actually a total softie and too dumb to ever hurt a fly. He just has that clueless look combined with the energetic personality, it's great imo!

I think their dialogue is really amusing. Like they're so dedicated to one topic that it's absurd. It does help that I have Rudy, who is so cute he could say basically anything and I would love it.

I am the type to have all personalities and a double of a male and a female type. Probably Normal and something else. I have 2 cranky but I kind of want 2 jocks instead and get Tybalt so he and Leonardo and be tiger jock buddies.

I love the jocks so much. I think a lot of the times the personality doesn't match the appearance of the villager, which makes it even funnier. There's just something about Scoot talking about his 74 pack abs that will always be entertaining and endearing to me.

Such cuties!! I actually really like jocks. I really loved Genji back in new leaf although somehow I don't like him the way that I used to. Now Dom is my new favorite Jock and probably my second favorite villager of all time and it's not just how cute he looks but overall his personality and dialogue is also fun and cute. That could translate to the other jocks in game of course but it helps that Dom is dummy cute!

I love it when Rod, Hamlet or Drift talk about wanting to beat a cranky in arm wrestling, but they are all so tiny. It’s just really funny for me, because they come out as more airheaded and goofy, instead of sporty. Thats why I can’t take them seriously.

I don't mind them. I find them funny and endearing and the way they keep talking about working out 24/7 while I suspect that they do everything the wrong way.
I also like a lot of the jock designs - especially Mac, Scoot, Louie and Tad.
